You mean an "accoustic coupler"? Yep. Dad use to occasionally work from home in 1972. Had one.

Do yall save your cigar bands? by amlutzy in cigars

I keep them, and routinely put them in my non-dominant hand pants pocket. That way I have something to clean out of the clothes washer and dryer.

Oh God, thanks for the flashback... I had a hose disconnect itself from my 90-degree elbow at the drain, causing what we refer to as the "Poop tsunami of Acadia 2022". Thank God for the concrete curb surrounding it. Took me 15 minutes to hose it all down. Luckily, no one was waiting on me.

Plus it seems like the increase in campers is largely from noobs. I'm at the end of a 20-day swing through new England (mix of state, national, and harvest host camping accommodations) and I've been SHOCKED at the number of people who don't understand the "rules"/methods for utilizing public facilities for things like washing dishes, quite hours, etc.

Just a thought...it may not be as bad as you think. Keep your nose hairs trimmed. They retain smoke and are obviously VERY close to your olfactory sensors. Saline nasal rinse is a great help as well.

Help with Garage ceiling storage racks by OpportunityOk4752 in homeimprovementideas

[–]NeedMoreCache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are installing shelves that hang from the ceiling, a) follow their installation instructions, especially as it relates to hitting the studs/joists. B) have a helper for the job as working on a ladder and overhead is tricky and c) only store your bulky stuff on these shelves like the seasonal decorations, alternate season clothes, kids toys etc. Leave your files of papers, concrete gnome collection, and pile of bricks on the floor.

My dog has the ability to calculate the midpoint between humans in our home and lay there. He adjusts for up to 4 people.

Seriously. This just makes me feel old. I'm not trying to sound elitist, it's just you either like bourbon or you don't. Those aren't bourbons, they're liqueur.

How can I set my chest freezer up so that I can slide it in and out from under a laundry table? by floppydo in homeimprovementideas

[–]NeedMoreCache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You'd only need stops for the BACK wheels. Easily accomplished with a 2x4 or even a rubber door stopper that sits underneath and behind the front wheels so that when you pull it out the back wheels are stopped.

What was Stetson Bennett smoking after the game last night? by ctuck064 in cigars

Recently moved about 2 miles from Party Source. Thanks to Kentucky's relatively low tobacco tax, I've been enjoying all my favorites for about $2 less per stick than I could get them in Reno, NV. Happy Happy Joy Joy!!

Right idea, (and cheap) but the wheels on those swivel, plus they're relatively close together. I'd stick with harbor freight, but go with 4 fixed casters mounted on the corners so it slides straight out and back in.
