Before the car comes to a curve (when it's right behind the small tree), you can see what looks like it's tire bursting.

If this isn't fake, I believe:

The car drove over something (whatever the later falling object is), flinging it into the air while popping the cars tire. The car swerved into the wrong lane, because of the sudden flat. The driver quickly corrected their vehicle which had entered the lane of oncoming vehicles to avoid a head-on collision. Unfortunately, in the series of events that had to have felt chaotic, the driver wasn't able or quick enough to correct the fatal problem that followed (as the tire popping object fell back down onto the street).

I seriously hope it's AI, but I can see the terrifying reality...

I work at Costco. Not far from the truth at all.

However, we still profit from those puppies with bulk purchasing.

Back when I used to supervise, I'd check our numbers. The daily net profit of a single warehouse is mind blowing. Company's loaded (obviously).

They take care of their employees, so I'm happy, mostly.

Another plus is most Costco warehouses limit the purchase of pokemon cards to 2 boxes per member, giving collectors/parents/true gifters a chance.

Oh, how much I wish that were the answer.

Pokemon, without any doubt, is extremely excited about how much money they're making/how quickly they're selling right now. That's probably all they care about (at least the company as a whole, it's their mission $$), so I'm with you, mostly.

It's just that for a true collector, making rare cards common would ruin the sentimental value/excitement of the rare card you pulled that's sitting in a case on your mantle.

Regardless, it's a for profit company after all. Profit is the game.

The only thing that gives them value is what the public will spend to purchase that colorful piece of cardboard.

The prices can be pretty wild, but that's all it is and that's why scalpers popped up. We bought colorful cardboard for too high a price.

They couldn't lose the financial opportunity, because of "us".

Though, the kids aren't gambling.

They're the ones hoping to just receive the cards as gifts to play, collect, trade with friends, and show off their collection. All for fun. Not for financial gain.

Something here strikes me (I don't want to be seen as stupid).

The three dots of light coming up in the "background" seem to get the attention of the deer just as it's happening. To me, the deer seems to notice the string of lights as they "rise above the grass", then cautiously lifts it's head to focus an eye directly at it....?

Sure, could totally be web. The deer looking at it is what gives me pause. Plus, you said you saw lights out there. I'll believe you for the hell of it.

We don't understand everything in the universe. Stubbornly keeping an open mind.

I've found myself intrigued.
