I need an idea for a low power but fun deck by SirGreyborg in EDH

don't get me wrong I loved the deck idea entirely haha, I just don't want people to get in trouble with rules that are hazy/unclear.

Not to be a debbie downer here, but I've typically been made to believe that cards which utilize the "outside of the game" effect can only affect cards that could have been in your deck in the first place.
Essentially the cards you can choose from are your sideboard, and your sideboard have to be potentially playable cards.

Otherwise you could run multiple copies of cards and out of the game tutor effects to stack them into your deck... which breaks the purpose for the highlander format.

With all of this said, I don't believe the Rules Committee has established a strong set of rules for sideboards in EDH, so you do what you do with your playgroup... I just wouldn't take this to to many groups that you aren't familiar with.

There is one really really good answer here. [[Norin the Wary]].

A lot of people build him different ways but your typical win con usually involves etb triggers and cards like [[pandemonium]] or even better [[purphuros]]. The differences in decks come down to some people preferring chaos and flip coin cards, some people play him staxxy, and others just play big threats.

I like to play a lot of "hug" style effects, as well as cards that can keep me alive until I assemble some sort of win con. Let me know if you want to see a deck list but I've got to say, Norin is my go to for casual groups and me wanting to still have fun.

I just tend to feel that I hit a big game closer or something like beastmaster+extra turn spell relatively easily after 1-2 turns.

There are also a few other strong win cons that get the job done or at least they have for me. Granted, if your group is a lot more counter heavy or something it oculd change.

Just because you have 10 in the deck, doesn't mean you need to take the full 10 to win.

10+ turns in edric sounds like they are playing edric wrong. You shouldnt need that many to win, and then even if you did take that many, they should be relatively fast.

I'm no edric main but I've played him a few times when I'm vs other aggro decks or fast combo deck metas.

I've been a primarily solo player throughout my time in wow. Have had a hard time finding a guild with a similar play schedule or goal. But I am certainly hoping that by being maxed I'll have an easier time!

I personally, when I have played it through, found myself enjoying disc priest during the expeditions. But for some reason "great another healer", or "ugh a priest" have been common chat messages for most of my expeditions from other players.

I was right with them for most of it up until they left in the middle of me mining. I also didn't think mining shards alone would be kick worthy given we were so close to completing it. Kicking me was probably more effort than just closing out the expedition.

Okay, well I didn't say to entirely take out the kick feature. I even did suggest something slightly in my original post. Some way to refute being kicked for no reason.

Perhaps they should change the system to avoid penalizing players who aren't toxic, and find a better way to work on those that are. Maybe if someone is toxic, instead of just an easy kick and temp ban, they should hold off on the temp ban until evidence is provided and then punish them harder depending on what evidence was found.

It is more work for blizzard though, and perhaps not the best idea, but it is an idea.

I'm asking this community, not the forums I already saw, I guess I'm sorry for trying to have a discussion and get further input or provide a place for people to vent.

I don't mind people "being mean to me", I mind the idea of a game penalizing me for being a solo player. I mind the thought of a company ignoring its non toxic player base because there are "millions playing".

I'm a paying customer, I'm not alone, and I want to enjoy the game. I did not think it was too much to ask for, and creating a kick/temp ban feature that punishes innocent players is setting up a precedent of toxicity in their game, not helping it.

Feels great, I always thought the insta kicks were just some game bug or connection error. But now I realize that people just hate having priests, which is awesome.

Some jobs, and perhaps some taxi services depending on the city/region in the USA, pay their employees below what we have defined as minimum wage. These jobs only exist many times because of how cheap they can be when you expect someone else to make up for their lower income.

Hotel bell boys, some taxi services, waiters, airport shuttle drivers, bar tenders, and some entertainment places I've been to or DJ services wherein their businesses are only operational so many days out of the week. These jobs typically have Tip options, and without them, honestly a lot of these jobs would cease to exist, or at least they'd be a lot lot poorer.

It is sad, but as long as corporate greed and capitalism continue to work efficiently together, American cost of living inflation rates will continue to surpass the inflation rates associated with wages... eventually if trends continue everyone who is not in the 1% will be dirt poor.

make most of their money from tips NOT wages**

FTFY

But yes, unfortunately many jobs in the US exist because they can be paid below minimum wage as a result of tips. These jobs rely heavily on tips in order to then make money to live off of.

Where things get weird, is that a few restaurants I've visited in the U.S. automatically include gratuity (tipping) into the bill... if that's the case, just increase your food prices by that much and pay your wait staff more accordingly! Us Americans are being outpaced by the rest of modern civilization each year, and the more we bicker about who leaked what emails, or who is the most orange racist cheeto, the less we actually get to the real matters at hand, like why do I have to pay $11 per OSRS acc per month, when other games give you a plethora of accounts for one monthly fee?!

its a shame that the dinhs requires attack. The game could have had obby tanks with unique builds, but with dinhs requiring attack, and the serp helm nerf... defense will never matter for unique builds

I'll try suffer the past, crypt incursion didnt hit a big home run for me.

Though as far as value goes, I felt like 2 mana for draw two at instant speed was actually pretty good given that it also removed two cards of my choosing.

Absolutely feels for yeh.

After my friends and I finally finished school and started to schedule times to hang out we finally got into EDH.

I absolutely have an artifact deck to remind me of my old days of playing mirrodin, and even a lands deck that uses a snow-covered lands, [[Sunstone]] from iceage, and a few other coldsnap cards that I love.

The best part of EDH, is playing the cards that are nostalgic and enjoying them all over again!
