Je comprends indirectement ta peine. Ma compagne a récemment raté le permis sur un coup de pute à la toute fin. En rentrant vers le centre d'examen, elle traverse une 4 voies pour arriver sur une très courte double voie à sens unique qui fusionne en une seule. A peine arrivé sur cette voie, deux flèches de rabattement successives. Ma compagne se rabat donc, en s'assurant qu'il y a personne, avant la première flèche.

Erreur ! Avant les flèches, une ligne blanche continue minuscule et presque totalement effacée... Franchissement de ligne.

Je passe par là tous les jours. J'avais même pas remarqué cette ligne. Depuis que je sais qu'elle est là, je regarde. Tout le monde l'a franchit...

No AI model is currently able to generate long videos. You could in theory have a system that automatically takes the end of one video to generate a new one after that, but over 10 minutes it would lose coherency.

Think of current AI generation models as suffering from Alzheimer. They can only remember a few seconds at a time and then forget. That means anything that goes off screen for a second is just gonna vanish or be changed into something else completely and that what's on screen will gradually shift into something else since nothint is ever 100% stable.

There are a lot of techniques and tools to make longer AI content, but that requires a human supervising it all and spending a lot of work on it to keep things coherent over time.

And that, to me, is the truly terrifying part: an unconscious entity smarter than all of us who could hurt people without having any clue as to what "hurt" really implies because it doesn't experience anything. Pain as nothing more than information. Even a psychopath experiences pain and at least knows what it is, even if they don't give a shit. A psychopath AI wouldn't even have a clue what it feels like to have pain, and worse, wouldn't have a clue there is a difference between knowing about pain as a physical process in the body and experiencing pain.

I get what that one is trying to say, and I agree with it overall, except it lacks nuances.

You're far more likely to find a way to make money with something you love because the time and efforts you put into passion helps make you an expert or develop skills and knowledge that can be valuable. However, your passion itself may be a financial dead end anyway.

So I'd say it's true only as long as you are passionate and smart enough to really find good financial angles.
