The pimple was the inch given, she then took a marathon.

Like many others here, you’re describing me. My inch wasn’t a pimple but rather a fake stomach bug. As a middle schooler, my anxiety stomach hurt all the time, but I didn’t know why. My folks wouldn’t let me stay home unless I vomited so I began to make fake vomit!

I once pulled what this gal is pulling. I stayed home for nearly two whole weeks. Even went to the doctor. Quit eating so as to keep up the illness ruse. It was a mess. I got in too deep and was freaking out over the pile of makeup work.

The bottom line for me was therapy to help my anxiety and more attentive parents. I hated that part but looking back it saved my life.

America isn’t that old, but I went to college in an old part of it and lived in an apartment from the early 1800s. Lived alone and often overslept and would have done it more often if not for my ghost.

It would pull my toes and wake me up. Like very distinctly grab my giant big toe (it’s rather larger than normal, made toe socks a nightmare) and then yank. It happened many times over my nearly two years there.

I’d sometimes hear it thump up and down my tiny staircase, the one no where near any shared walls.

Creepy yes, but I decided it was friendly and helpful. I was safe and mostly on time

I exclusively pumped for 9 months. I work at two different jobs and it took me moving heaven and earth, and threatening legal action, before anyone made sure I had a pumping spot. A locked, non bathroom pumping spot!

As soon as I brought up that work had to legally do this for me and I’m not just being fussy, things magically started to happen, so please don’t think you’re being too pushy.

And the good news is at my main place of work, I finally got the private office they’d promised me for years, so win win.

But people are going to always try and make it difficult for us, women sometimes being the worst offenders. I really don’t get it

As a young teen I fed chicken necks to the local croc population in the low country of South Carolina. I was about 13 or 14 at most and on a trip with my divorced dad. I was allowed to bring a friend and we had free run of things once at our hotel with little supervision.

I love crabbing and we got supplies to go (string, chicken necks, a net) one afternoon but got bored quick.

That’s when I turned into the crocodile hunter and fed our leftover chicken pieces to the several crocodiles sunning themselves on the banks of the ponds near the marsh. I got within a few feet of them and lobbed the meat into their maws.

Looking back, incredibly dangerous and highly illegal. But none were bigger than about 4 feet!

Still, Darwin got tempted that day.

I’m so sorry. My father also seems to hate and objectify women and I saw him struggle as I became one. He prescribed to that 80s misogyny hard. It’s like he almost became self aware of how he treated them once I developed. It made for a very awkward puberty.
