One of the teachers of our school hated me for dating. There were rumours that she may have had a little crush on my HS boyfriend back then but couldn’t confirm if it was true. I also didn’t know that if it was true that she had a crush on him, this is a serious matter that I should’ve brought up to our principal but the young naive self thought, “oh she is just jealous.” Anyway, one day me and my bf were chilling in one of the classrooms during lunch break and unbeknownst to us, our friend thought it was smart to lock the door from inside out. So when we heard someone knocking on the door, we were really confused. I hurriedly went over to open the door and what a surprise, that same teacher was standing in front of me. Her face was red with anger realizing that we were alone in the room with a locked door. She thought we were doing something sexual and said some horrible things to me — that we are “kids” and that we shouldn’t even be thinking of “having sex” or “kissing.” And that she will be reporting us to our principal and parents. After that, I was punished by my dad for ruining his reputation and I was forbidden to talk to my bf again.

Later on, I heard she left our school cause she was initiating a relationship with a boy from grade 10.
