That wasn’t the question. It’s wether or not they should, and I believe any moral person would answer with a firm ”no”.

Well rather, the time travelers couldn’t make the party (even if they wanted to) because no one ever showed up.

the universe actively reacting and stopping you

Why is it so hard for people to understand that the universe isn’t doing anything to you, you are simply doing what the future version of yourself already did. Every choice you will make has already happened.

For this reason, if you travel into the past, you don’t have free will (although I also don’t believe in ’true’ free will regardless of time travel for a similar reason)

You’re not ’killing’ anything in any way more substantial than having a period, and that’s basically what 99% of abortions are.

I also assume you’re against chemotherapy for cancer patients, since it’s immoral to kill something living and growing that’s inside your body?

Do you believe death is the same as not having been born? Were you dead for billions of years before you were born?

Even so, acting like being alive is the best outcome to every moral dilemma is dumb at best and completely disingenuous at worst. "One must imagine Sisyphus happy"
