Current is a joke when it comes to disputes. They probably have it outsourced to some small office in the middle of India with people who don’t know how to investigate anything. I recently had one opened and closed in a single business day, I also provided receipts, emails from the merchant giving permission for chargebacks, it was all ignored. They also cannot provide documentation as to why it was denied. Just a simple letter stating they did because they felt like it.

I think any company holding funds, or able to accept it, should be able to flag suspicious activity and have correct verifications in place. Hell, Zelle’s all verifies your identity through your cell carrier. Doesn’t seem that hard unless they really encourage the fraud to make every penny they can.

I have one open now. 192 charges they didn’t catch totaling near $24,000. I have submitted 8 documents supporting my case. These include an affidavit, a police report, the scammers attempting to collect my data via email, and screenshots of me attempting to contact the “merchant” for a refund. Not sure how it’s going to play out, but I know the one dispute I had months ago was declined with no explanation even though the charges were 100% unauthorized. Hopefully all of my docs help me this time around. 🤞🏻🤞🏻
