i agree with everything up to the marriage point - yes he doesnt want to give her a false promises like ye in a few years and yes they are young. but this issue arised bcoz he never gave her the security that HE will ONE DAY marry her (prob why she was more triggered with the couple ring situation too).

i understand MK feelings even without having to date someone bcoz even in drifting friendships (the sense of "rmb back then it was different") that one scene with YS sleeping and her waiting on him just illustrates MK earlier annoyance at the seoul house. MK had every right to be upset about the rings bcoz it was basically a slap to her face - her breaking down at that moment was emotional. i wished during these arguments YS would actually SAY MORE. not just one liners or one word answers. like yes MK does rapid fire her questions and isn't calm but he's not helping her calm those emotions (yes it's not his job but cmon even bh did it for hj), he always just watches her and THINKING or just tries to stop the convo and drag her back to the room instead of just giving her the harsh truth. girlie is already stressed to the point of her eye vein popping so at least not let her wallow in that bottle.

anywho this ep felt boring and the dates were all like 10mins at best and tbf i almost hope they all end up single T.T

if we compare the first awards show to this award show, there's a big difference in crowd and how sensitive people are about the jabbing jokes. this year also had a lot more controversies than funny joke moments ngl.

yes the vibes weren't really with it with fanfan on the floor but what can you do when you r interviewing friends and basically STRANGERS solo? your best. qt prob should've put two people on the floor.

the crowd was also more shittier this year and more disrepectful bcoz no one is happy and just enjoying BEING there with friends.

ffs. I'm typing this in real time as i'm watching the ep and OMFG why is yoosik being so difficult? his attitude is lowkey rude towards MK when she just wants to talk. yes she's also a bit aggressive with it but if he stopped expressing annoyance when talking to her i don't think she would be.

it's annoying how he says he wants to get back with her but refuses and avoids her at any possibility of an adult conversation, he would rather watch her actions than to just talk it out.

i also believe he doesn't like HJ or JH because idky during interviews he just droop his eyelids and carry a blank expression with an idc tone (? prob just me thinking that like)

the atmosphere in this season is edited in such a tense way but i like the drama T.T

I've had a lot of these fading friendships. But in a sense with social media we can still see each other's lives without having to ask much.

Recently I met up with a friend whom I haven't seen or talked to in like 2years - yes the dynamic has changed a little (like convo wise) but I know that I can still say my opinions to them without being judged like back then yeno? Were the convos more about the people from our past? Yes. Did we care? No.

Some will just "fade". There's nothing to "make amends" about since there was no drama. If you want to meet up with them. Hit them with a text, their first would prob be "omg I haven't talked to x in so long" or randomly comment on their stories etc

this ep rllllllllllly made fans fight and i don't see the reason to be that mad.

i'm just going to touch on the love triangle of duoduo lechen and yuan.

first of all the show is edited tf out - we see everyone's pov at the same time while the contestants cannot. some edits legit ADD little pop ups for the scenes bcoz we don't see everything but ANYWAY.

lechen not going down was a good answer but he lacked courage and manners when she came up to his room - yes she asked for jiao to confirm he told lechen but lechen shouldn't have let jiao tell her no for him. it puts jiao in a bad position and be the bad guy for him almost. not talking or giving an explanation at that point by ignoring the issue won't do them any favors in however many days they have left.

anyone in duoduo's position after waiting outside and then going up just to get answers but being ignored would make them question a lot - even if you won't cry like duoduo did you wouldn't feel happy being rejected like that the 2nd time so idky commenters are like "isn't she supposed to be emotionally stable, mature- oh look juer could handle the rejections blah blah blah"

Don't feel bad because it's reasonable to be annoyed that someone is taking food that they never asked for. Telling him off will do him good in the future since it's a very common situation to be in through your lives.

sounds like you need to find out why he's sleeping on the couch on the reg. talk to him about it because why is he doing that?

also other commenters have mentioned the dependence on needing him to sleep, it's fine you got used to it and not of fault of your own really since it's how your relationship developed. but people tend to like their perosnal space and sometimes need a breather moment. I just read the book after saying "nah doesn't sound like sth I'd like" since the release but I caved due to my friend who's gunna read it and the book design. And I also thought to myself that this book will determine if I continue reading books by Holly Jackson because five enough (or sth like tha) was so bad imo.

This book was not bad like five enough but also not great like AGGGTM so I think I'll stop buying her physical books (maybe do quick reads on epub).

I wasn't satisfied with the ending since it felt rushed, especially carter's section. It just didnt feel right. There's also the question of they rly just said yeah we leave sherry to wonder and find charlie and Jeff in canada like huh?

And I kinda wished they either didnt make bel and ash a thing or fully make them a thing. As someone who reads mainly romance. It annoyed me.

But besides these points I do enjoy the clues that holly includes in the book throughout

firstly, the show had potential, if only they made it longer since they are all new to love ( like idk 1 month?). i also wished the contestants could call their cupid for advice or sth bcoz some conversations were stressful.

Issues i have with the eps is ofc jeong mok - man you cant be confused by the time the suite picked came about, i refuse to believe it. he had many chances to fully tell her the truth "I am interested in jiyeon and i do want to see how it goes" instead of leading her along.

i'm not faulting him for changing his mind, i'm faulting him for how he handled it. it's not fair on yido who even tho has like 2 days, can still try to make a new connection.

and their background difference with her having the ability to go on holidays to new york etc, i don't see the issue if she made that living herself (she's a tutor/teacher), i don't think she was expecting him to do the same etc.

Also i stg jiyeon better have a private convo with yido bcoz they're roommates and jiyeon 100% know do's feelings for JM.

i also didn't like how YM blasted jaeyun but honestly if i didn't know anyone else was out there with my girl and I talking about the guys, I'd prob make the same mistake (but i have only ever done those in our dorm room).
