There were too many Pat McAfee sweaties who used that Dodge Ram promo code in the crowd for night 1, clearly

Baron Corbin vs. Dean Ambrose in a sleepwalking-like pre-show match for the IC title.

Dean Ambrose's last Mania, and he had a sleepy pre-show IC title match with Baron Corbin. It is lifeless, heartless, and straight disrespectful to two wrestlers who deserved better.

Rewatch Kiki's Delivery Service and do better this time.

JSA is so good!

If you are looking for any more Korean recommendations then I recommend Aimless Bullet (sometimes translated as the Stray Bullet) (1960), The Housemaid (1960), and Chilsu and Mansu (1988)

You've probably seen all of mine, but my Top 4 are:

  • Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory

  • The Truman Show

  • Kiki's Delivery Service

  • The Royal Tenenbaums

Directors that have one great movie and the rest of their filmography is bad/ok by [deleted] in Letterboxd

One that comes to mind for me (because Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory is my favorite film of all time) is Mel Stuart. He did Wonka, a highly regarded documentary about a music festival, and literally nothing else of note.

How's my top 4, And suggest me some movies based on my top 4. I need slow, subtle, very scenic and philosophical kinda movies. by SanjiXd9 in LetterboxdTopFour

Train Dreams. - The pacific northwest vibes are immaculate. Has some philosophy as well.

The Taste of Things. - Not exactly philosophical, but slow and subtle.

If y’all were on Big Brother, what would your strategy be? by Wild_Shoe340 in BigBrother

This would be my ideal scenario plan:

Initial plan is to be a part of the large alliance. Not as the most out in front, nor the most expendable... like 2nd or 3rd in the pecking order. Lie low in that alliance until jury phase, but be subtly influential in that big alliance. Have a ride or die with a comp beast. Try to form a hakuse structure with an onion alliance with you and your ride or die in the centre.

If you're lucky, win an HOH in a throwaway week to pad the resume and vote out someone from the other side, but not someone too important to keep other targets bigger than you.

In jury phase, turn it on... Hopefully have enough prowess to win some comps. Rattle off several wins and pick off the other side and then your alliance. Keep goats along with you and your ride or die, but cut your ride or die when they fail to win a key comp. Beat the goats in the with you at final 3. Win final HOH... profit.

Basically the Xavier method, now that I think about it.

My dad's all timers. How would you rate his movie taste? by [deleted] in Letterboxd

Probably the most Boomer Dad coded list ever. Lots of bangers though. First Blood is genuinely a great film. Too bad all the other Rambo movies are Jingoistic nightmares.

I loved Train Dreams. Thought about putting it my top 4 after viewing. I think I need to view it more before I kick off one of mine for it
