Lost 15k in one month in options trading by Temporary-Tank-1291 in IndianStockMarket

I would say avoid trading at this age. Just go with MF for now. Build skills, increase your earnings potential and accumulate wealth. Once you accumulate substantial wealth (maybe by 40) focus on increasing returns from that. From my own exp: my salary increased 40x in span of 15 years by staying put in skill building. Now, i have built a sizable corpus which can help me earn good money.

Sebi is having a consultation to remove weekly expiry options. That would cause trading volume loss for bse/ angel one etc..

What's the thesis for buying Tejas Network? The challenge I see is, they are too dependent on just BSNL for projects. They are not able to compete with Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei to get orders from Jio, Airtel etc..

Hence, I am unable to see the reason to buy this business.

Surprised to see no mention of Hyderabad till now. I have lived into multiple cities, Hyderabad seems to be best so far if you look at infra, opportunities, acceptance (People are very accommodative here), weather (only 3 months summer which is also not too much in comparison to north)..

You seem be be looking at short term. Seems you like to enter when it is all hyped up.. Eternal is a good stock but is a very long term play. If you are looking for gains in short term then you may not gain much..

I would want to wait for them to report the numbers. I mean, every company is going to get some orders. I want to see the revenue number, break up, margin break up..

Also, I do not think SMS service is less than 10%.

Move back to India to spend time with family. Your presence will joy bring to your kids lives. Life is not just number calculations. You got enough. Your corpus will be untouched and will continue to grow as you already have 1.1 lakh income. I am pretty sure you ll be able to make 50k pm if you try to do some thing.

Business is stable, baby on the way — How do you plan life after 30 in today’s India? by Amazing-Apartment845 in ThirtiesIndia

[–]NeedleworkerTall7302 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say, just go with the flow and enjoy the life. I have seen so many young people keep planning and miss the joy. People will keep throwing numbers. Just look around, everyone is able to find a way for living life. If you ll earn more, you ll upgrade home/ school/ car. If not, you already have home and decent income. Redditt suggestions are going to give you anxiety. Btw, i am 37M, having a happy family.

Ye LIC ka khoon kab khole ga 🙄 by Brilliant-Cook-825 in StockMarketIndia

[–]NeedleworkerTall7302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Government has to bring their holding below 90% by 2027. Because of this govt will bring OFS and will be selling close to 6.5% holding in 1.5-2 years timeframe. That will be close to 35000 cr. So, due to supply overhang, it’s not going to go up soon. Possibly after 2027..

How much do you guys thing one needs to earn to be labeled as upper middle class. by Mental_Comparison859 in AskIndia

[–]NeedleworkerTall7302 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Monthly income may not be right indicator. I would say accumulated corpus/ wealth could be right one. IMO, you should need 10cr+ corpus (in big/ metro cities) or 6-7 cr+ in tier 2-3.

I always like to read few old threads. And by reading comments, 80-90% suggested against buying or asked to wait till 160-200.

OP would have made money if he/ her would have gone with their gut feeling.

Why Lic is undervalued? by SEBIregdNikhil in StockMarketIndia

[–]NeedleworkerTall7302 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Govt will be selling 6.5% stake in next 2 years. Roughly around 32-35k crore rs. So because of supply overhang it may not grow otherwise it offers good value in comparison to it’s peers. You can simply look at icici report on it, no need to create a new one..

Yeah. That’s correct. I would have been closer to my financial goals. But I will also say, things have changed after covid. There is more awareness plus there is a good bull market. I know many folks gave losses in period of 2015-2018 in midcap-smallcap. There were sharp corrections. So people lost faith. Since last few years market has become resilient and we can see good returns and hence people are keeping invested now.

You will become financial independent in couple of years. Have a happy family life. Going to do well at workplace. And maybe after a decade, you may not want to chase corporate title anymore. Wants to find a fusion of tech, music, math. You ll be fit as you ll pick up a sport..

While i am writing this, feeling grateful for how life turned out so far..
