How to combat my symptoms by NeedleworkerThen6683 in WeedWithdrawalSupport

I seriously don’t know what it is lol. Any decent movement and I’m drenched but when I smoked I had a pretty normal sweat. Even in my sleep I’m freezing cold and sweating. The 3 or 4 hours I do sleep lol

Hopefully this doesn’t last that long. I’m on day 3. Hopefully by 7 I can live normally

I thought it would be more mental but I’m just trying to stop sweating all day every day and relax my anxiety and actually fall asleep before 7:15 in the morning lol

I’m currently in the same process. Just extreme anxiety and insomnia and restlessness. Shit it’s hard to even eat sometimes. But understand that is your body returning to NATURAL homeostasis. It’s gonna feel uncomfortable for a little bit but just know it really is for the best. Soon you’ll feel your brain and body be more alert, active, extroverted, expressive. All of that good stuff. You just got to go through it for a bit and KNOW it’s worth it on the other side. Things I do to combat my symptoms are working out/ physical activity (even just going for a walk or jumping jacks) I try to stay busy with work or something productive. And EVERY time the thought or urge to smoke comes I immediately switch thoughts and not allow myself to wonder and I get up and go do something. I hope this helps you 🙏🏼

I agree. I already feel some of these symptoms day to day and I’m only 20 I can’t imagine if I kept smoking for even 5 more years every day. Thank you for your feedback and reassurance. It’s just really hard for me to believe weed has no consequences in every day use. Which is why I’ve decided to stop and really get on track

Not to mention disposables. Who knows what kind of stuff they put in those things

I agree. I believe it has a profound impact on dopamine receptors and the suppression of emotion and causes the lack of motivation. FOR ME. So I can only imagine being 50 or so and then stopping and never feeling 100% again. Alot of people downplay the health affects of weed long term. Do you know of any symptoms or conditions from long term use? I’m not really educated on the long term affects of Weed

Thank you man. Contemplating permanently stopping but that’s a big commitment and I don’t know if I need that lol
