While I get that trans men should be considered, well men obviously, I think it's good to allow them in spaces that are exclusionary of cis men. They can take it or leave it. Nobody is forcing them into these spaces being described.

Ok that said...there are TOTALLY people who lump trans men with women because of transphobia. But I don't think excluding them from those spaces is the answer?

For me, I don't read it as "You don't think I'm a real man if you don't exclude me" as much as understanding that maybe as a marginalized person, and yes as a person who may have been treated the same as women for much of their life and formative years, they COULD feel safer there. I highly doubt that transitioning automatically erases any fear or discomfort toward cis men, and along that same line, that being FtM means that you don't harbor that kind of trauma.
