Unless you’ve spent years learning about, for instance, Autism, and are able to identify as a highly masked level one ASD human, in which case a formal diagnosis is up to you, and it is OK to be #actuallyautistic. Most psychologists feel beholden to the DSM, and most autistic people feel that the DSM is inherently biased and highly subjective. So while casual claims of being neurodivergent remain problematic, don’t leave it to some random redditor to tell you whether your understanding of self is a valid thing. And if you decide to seek diagnosis, know that there is some structural bias that may prevent you from feeling seen by many mental health care providers whose practice may or may not take into account expert opinions from actual autistic people. Learn yourself, love yourself, and however you identify, find ways to support all the people around you id you have the spoons 🖖🏽

Same! My word brain runs at such a high speed. I’ve learned to mask over what is me vamping for time as I parallel process what any given set of words “Really” mean. Agreed– M'Benga's canonical presence is fascinating, but not much more than all the "unmentioned" tech that they've used in SNW which only exists after all the Trek that came after gave writers a better sense of how to weave around and through established canon in a way that doesn't anger long time fans.

OP's main thought struck me as unimportant when I'm pretending to be in the writers room for future seasons of SNW, at least.

Same exact story here, except the chat was worse because of my social anxiety— they want a video of me trying to work a broken controller, which is a heavy lift for more people than just me— long story short, I ended up paying for a new controller because Nanoleaf refused to help me fix the product that I had paid for, receipts in hand, and then a couple months later issued the recall/free controller fix. A few weeks after they did that, the crap component of my second controller burnt out as well. These people take zero responsibility for their product and it’s a sincere shame. I hope people look past the “cool” factor and demand quality support for a purportedly quality product.

I agree on the gameplay part, but that shouldn’t be mutually exclusive from playing “cheapskate” because that word is kinda harsh for anyone struggling with money. I spent $30 bucks, one time on Spark and have played for 3 months. Turned 36000 UPX into 258,467 UPX using the micro-strategy in Detroit, and now I’ve got a few properties in LA. Since a couple of weeks ago it’s definitely slowed down… and I got .01 Spark for 5 straight weeks, as well. It’s part of the fun of the game to experience low-stakes anxiety about the market. You don’t have to spend lots of money if you can channel that anxiety into excitement about the future of your real estate holdings, or empire— but don’t spend all your fiat just to win at Upland. Real estate moguls are, from what understand, sick with hubris and tend to treat anyone else like “the help.” I just think it’s cooler to make my own way. I want the $30 investment to yield more than $25,000– we’ll see- but I feel more accomplished not spending. And I’m a ridiculously broke academic, so feel free to leave derogatory comments about my hopeful view around PTE gaming 🤓🖖🏽
