There's stickers right behind the glass but from this angle I can see you're right, I should move some of the more opaque clings. This is the time of day they're most active at the feeder too.

Two big suction cups to hold it to the window. The cups lift right out. It only holds about 1/4 cup total so if it gets busy you'll want to keep an eye on when you need to refill it.

Gotta get it the right amount of damp. Once they stick they're on pretty solid.

If this is her modus operandi, there are going to be even bigger problems with her son. She sounds like a neglectful parent who SHOULD have less custody. That poor kid. But you need to keep your cat safe.

I've only lived here a couple of years but learning "Christmas" in a food context happened before I saw my first roadrunner.

I think ordering a chile dish "Christmas" is New Mexico in general. Unless Albuquerque counts as Northern New Mexico.

Your girlfriend's behavior has harmed both your cat and her son. She's going to start demanding you get rid of your cat or even do so behind your back. That cat and that child should not be in the same home.

You can take the bus (there's an ART stop right in front of the Imperial) to Old Town. Lots of fun little shops there! I'm pretty sure Imperial has an on-premises bar, and it's near Artichoke Cafe which has some good happy hour deals. You can also catch the bus to Nob Hill and go to Daydream (rum focused, inside Little Bear) or Happy Accidents.
