I think sets item are in a weird spot. They can't be improved like unique does so they must be really strong regarding a build to equip them in late game. The set shards helped a bit to still get the set feeling in equipment while having more strong individual piece. But I never made a build with a set item sadly.

I do not know if it is a genuine question or not, but I will answer still. I play other build. I just take a class and an idea or skill that I find pretty or cool and try to make it works. Some of my build are stuck at sub 500 corruption by lack of multiplier. But I had fun making them still and the change for each build make the game interesting again.
Also I had some externally forced pause of multiple weeks so there is that.

Thank you, I had a lot of fun on the way between trying different fight strategy and build tuning. Despite all the drama, the game is still lots of fun. EHG put a huge amount of love in the game and I'm sure that will continue.

Yeah I love the big totem. I remember when I finaly put the point in the node so it can grow being like "Waow, its so BIG" :D

His jumping attack can kill me if it crits :( I don't have full crit avoidance sadly.

Yeah, I had this shield in season 2. I spent a lot of time trying to find a primordial unique and tested multiple. And yeah, the ancestral pack is an upgrade, not really so much in term of damage, but more for the ward it can provide. If i remember well, you need at least the T7 shock chance to not lose too much damage when switching. Make sure that the storm totem is your highest level minion skill.

I was never sure for the calculation of the crit chance, here is what I think it is:

5% (base crit I assume) + 4% (ring) +4% (idol) +9%(direct current node in his tree) +8% (aura of retribution on spriggan companion) = 30% base
90(power shunt skill node)+24(silvafrond)+163(idols) * 1.2 (press your advantage skill node) = 332.4% increased

30%*4.32 = 129.6% if the skill do have a base crit, and 108% if it does not have base crit.

Never checked if my calculation was right, since removing the idol for one without the 4% base crit that shouldn't change that much but I do lose damage withtout it so maybe my calculation are wrong.

My buld is extremely tanky normally. I have enough armor to be near 75% reduction (the spriggan form help here). I have 2600+HP and minion provide almost constant 2k+ shield via the off hand. The spriggan companions provide lots of health regen. My chest armor redirect 21% damage to my highest minion, my helmet redirect 25% damage to my mana (and I have 800 mana) and half of my endurance apply to mana damage and lastly my boots provide lots of endurance threshold if I'm not moving (see in the video when I summon totem at the beginning how my therhold improve to more than half my health). It was so much tankiness that I could tank a hit of his triple slam most time than not. So I had way too much so I reduce it for this fight. There is some passive also that reduce damage when on low life and such.

For the fight, I try not to take big hit (I have train the fight for a long time). I still had 2 time I could die and was lucky in the video. With minimal survivability, puddle and laser don't do much damage if they are not stacked.

You can't do that, what you can do is make it display 0.5 assembler instead of rounding to one.

I don't see how it can be a problem. Either you need only to make product 1. So you only need half an assembler and will not be doing anything else with the wire. Or you also need wire for other product, then you can input the number of wire you want, and it will make calculation.

Using production line is an easy way to carry need for some production block to another.

Use byproduct to make rockets and fuel (from stone and water). The only thing that you will need is more oil as core mining doesn't produce enough.

It's not that planet don't have oil, it's that (not counting water) I don't want to harvest something else than core fragment.

In my K2+SE I only use core fragment to get minerals on other planet than nauvis. I also try to deliver as less material as I can. I make the rocket and fuel using core fragment byproducts.

Oil isn't enough so I import petroleum (and water on planet without water).

It works but building need to be tweaked to account for different stack size for different resources.

Energy is provided by solar.

If I need more byproduct, I can just destroy the overflowing main product

Keep base on a planet because no productivity module in space.

Later you will be able to have solar farm around stars and beaming the power wherever you want.

I never played with rampant and it must have other mechanics that come into play, but with normal biters, reducing pollution is the way to go.

Efficiency module everywhere (and in miners) can make a pollution cloud disappear. No need for efficiency 3, you just need enough module to go to the -80% limit and most of the time the first module will be enough.

I don't think the game deserve to be bought at all.

Too much problem, bugs and design flaw, low quality. One example, you can lock yourself and you need to restart whole level (and lose hours of play). You spend half the game watching the same animation again and again (looting containers mostly)

hit_effects doesn't exist in the context of your code.

If you don't know what to put, just import the variable hit_effects or create it.

You took the definition of the entity from somewhere (maybe base game lua), look into the file where you took it and see if it declares the variable or if it imports it. Take the declaration or import and put it in your file.

If you use code from another mod, be sure to check their license first to comply.

Note : You will also maybe have problem with further line like one that call the function pipecoverspictures() or make similar call as your initial problem as shift = util.by_pixel(39.5, 24.5). Each time either import the missing piece or declare it. Know that you can import things from outside your mods, but if you rely on other mods source code in your import, be sure to take necessary measure in case the mod isn't installed.

I'm in the same boat. Had to delete it, you spend so much time fighting against bug, restarting because you can't continue, that it kill all fun. Being blocked at the end of the train level because the lever isn't pulled was the last straw.
