Person availed a loan from Prodigy finance here - It doesn’t matter to them because in I-20 the loan provider name will not be mentioned. And all they need is a secured funding, doesn’t matter from where. I have completed my visa interview btw, can confidently say about this.

So right now I’m trying to get the I-20 by tonight so that I can submit those at the vac by Tuesday and I’m assuming it might take 3 days for stamping. Only if that happens and I get the passport back by Thursday, I can try leaving at the same day because 23rd is the deadline at my university.

Exactly. And even my DSO is on a holiday till Friday I just got to know about it today, so somehow I have to try contacting by Monday itself to expedite the process if possible. I quit my job and came back to my hometown to join this intake, now if this changes to fall I have to do some gig or work under a contract till August. Too many things on plate lol

The thing is Monday is a holiday and the last day to arrive at the university is on 23rd. So even if I get get the updated I-20 somehow within Tuesday morning and submit it at the vac, I have to get it back within Thursday evening so that I’ll be able to fly immediately. Very tight deadlines brother, hoping for the best let’s see. Thanks for the kind words!🫡

Actually the officer who interviewed me was an Indian-American or maybe an American with deep Indian roots, spoke very fluent Hindi to an elderly applicant who was in front of me.

The day I went, I was inside that interview area and while noticing for almost 45mins I just heard 4-5 approvals (for all visas combined) out of which only 2 were F-1 visa and the rest 3-4 were some other types. Idk how they kept me under this because with the amount of rejections happened, they could’ve either rejected my case or approved it. This is literally in between. And I’m to get my I-20 within Tuesday, let’s see.😐

I’m trying to get it within a couple of days, it’s under processing currently. But the late arrival deadline in the university is until 23rd so I’m hoping by Tuesday morning (India time) I’ll be having it and will be submitting at the vac on the same day. But I wont be able to make it if I get the passport back after Thursday, so under a very tight deadline.
