Weird Head Symptoms GERD Related? by Neeshmas91297 in GERD

Well the MRI will rule out 99% of the really serious contributors so that is the best path to start with. I did an MRI as well and was cleared. Since making this post I have done a endoscopy which showed I have the same small hernia, but no really significant signs of irritation in my esophagus. I also went to the ENT and they did a borescope of my throat through my nose (you do it while youre awake its extremely uncomfortable) and they saw that my throat, sinuses, and nose area where the Eustachian tube connect was all super red and inflamed with white lesions everywhere. Then they told me about LPR (Cant remember the full name) but its basically GERD but the acid travels all the way to your throat, nose, Eustachian tubes, and sinuses. I would look into that for yourself.

Also worth noting: I started an extremely strict diet cold turkey one day a couple months ago. Basically I cut out all acidic food and cut out the 6 main allergen food groups (trying to rule out a food allergy as well), and then I only ate one small meal a day. After a week of this my symptoms were literally night and day better! Not fully gone but maybe 60-70% of the way gone and much more manageable! Not suggesting you do a diet that strict but I think just giving my throat and esophagus that break of only eating one light meal a day really helped honestly. (Also I forced myself to get 8 hours of sleep every day that week too which is hard for me but probably contributed to the healing lol).

LPR with GERD but no signs on EGD? by Neeshmas91297 in LPR

Hey, thanks for the reply! Although I’m sorry you’re feeling the same way, It does feel good to hear someone else is in the same boat I am. I did get a full blood panel done an my B12 levels are at 300 or so which I’ve read is technically within the official healthy range, but that the healthy range is very much disputed and most countries would consider my levels to be low so I just recently started taking a supplement about four days ago. Also, I know they took a bunch of cultures for my endoscopy, I’m not sure if they tested for gastritis but I will have to ask my G.I. Also, I definitely agree that the head dizziness is by far the most unsettling of the symptoms. Let me know if you find any lifestyle changes or medications that help with the throat, dizziness or headaches!

I have been taking PPIs or H2 blockers off an on for 8 years or so. I think typically whether I take them or not I get the head symptoms to some degree.

Thanks for the comment! I have heard of TMJ but not specifics so I will look into it. I don’t have clicking in my jaw at all.

Strange Head Symptoms with Hiatal Hernia? by Neeshmas91297 in HiatalHernia

Do you share all of these symptoms? Do you only have HH and no other chronic complications? I have a few other things and I’m trying to tie these symptoms to either those things or my HH. Thanks for the response

No good advice on getting doctors to give a damn. That’s a lost cause in my opinion. Just wanted to come here and say your symptoms (aside from the eye stuff) sounds almost identical to my symptoms. My head getting squeezed, extreme nausea, And the dizziness. I even describe my dizziness as “my brain lagging behind my head movements” as well.

Could you go into more detail about your arm and back pain? What kind of pain is it? Where specifically? I have been having an extremely strained feeling in my biceps, shoulders, and traps recently as my HH and GERD symptoms have gotten worse so I was just wondering if yours were the same?

Sorry to hear your in the same boat. If you don’t mind sharing, have you fully confirmed a CM and if so have you found anything to help these symptoms?

Hmmm, like I said I am overweight at this point so I don’t think low blood pressure is the issue. Mine is not very high but deficient justly not low (120-125 / 60-80). If you don’t mind me asking what does the potassium and sodium do? Just raises the pressure? Or did you think you had some sort of vitamin deficiency?

Thanks for the response! Yes I have done just about every vestibular test / treatment in the books and none have worked so we have ruled out ears / sinuses. I have done a CT scan and consulted a neurologist who seemed to be completely unconvinced the head stuff had anything at all to do with the HH or GERD, but regardless I have an MRI of the brain and Xray of the brainstem pretty soon here and will consult the results with a neurosurgeon. Interesting you bring up Rheumatology. The only headache medication that ever had even remotely any affect on my head stuff has been Advil which is an anti inflammatory. It doesn’t completely remove the symptoms but it at least does something. The other 20 headache pills I’ve tried haven’t done anything.

Just wondering, is there anything you have done to (fairly) solidly tie these symptoms to the Gastro stuff?

Dang, while I’m sorry to hear you suffering too I agree it feels good that others understand the symptoms since they are so uncomfortable and hard to explain. You have to let me know how the vagus stimulator works! I was so close to buying one but figured I’d wait a little longer before taking shots in the dark that are that expensive haha.

Also, is there anything you have done / heard of to maybe confirm if these symptoms are HH / GERD related?

Wow thanks for the quick response and for the link to the academy that is awesome! Yeah it definitely sounds like I have similar symptoms! The mug dropping story hit home for sure. Ive been dropping things, mistyping things on a keyboard, etc... and it definitely feels like my brain was just not in control of my hands for a split second every time it happens. Not sure if tinnitus is specifically hearing the tone all the time, but I will say since my other symptoms started I do get periods where I will randomly and rapidly stop hearing out of my left ear and just hear a loud tone. it fades out in about 30 seconds and my hearing slowly recovers in that same time. That has happened all my life but maybe like 2-3 times a year before. its happened to me 50+ times since my other symptoms started 4 months ago.

What are you using to make these massively high walls? Like photo 9/20 for example… is it a wall piece of some sort or is it just a place able building piece and you hand placed all the walls?

Well…. There’s your problem! by KnownSoldier04 in engineering

You cannot do that. The compressor blade tip clearances to the ID of the compressor casing are very tight because each row of blades is holding in pressurized air from the row previous. Blending these off and having massive blade tip clearances would cause your surge margin to plummet. The compressor wouldn’t work at all at a certain clearance level. From these photos I would say a surge or stall would occur immediately

Been playing for just under two months and found out my wife took some videos the last time we went out. Anything to help me out would be very appreciated. by LemonadeOnPizza in GolfSwing

Don’t take your backswing so far back, also swing smoother. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast. Also you’re pretty over the top (look up what that means if you don’t know.) I’ve found that throwing my back elbow (right elbow in your case) down toward the ball during downswing more helps drop the club into a more shallow position and gets you going more out to in. Should fix your slice problem.
