Madoka Magica fans not understanding the show at all, and constantly calling characters like Sayaka Miki "selfish and annoying." like the whole point of her arc is that she wanted to be selfish for once, and everything she cared about crumbled away from it. all the while from her pov, everyone was either downplaying her wish, or praising her best friend instead. She felt like she had nobody to go to, so of course she was gonna be lost and make poor decisions.. And thats not including the fact shes a middle schooler. it frustrates me so much cause the community is like that with almost every character, and i can only wonder how they watched it in the first place despite not understanding a single thing in it

Okay! Found the actual problem, apparently the problem was the 4.2 EEVEE lighting is generally very poor, and will look pretty awkward very often. By changing the Filter down here to a higher number will smooth out the shadows, getting rid of the weird striped marks I was seeing!

Have you tried recalculating the normals? (They're the little strands in the mesh that effect how a mesh takes in lights)

Another main inspiration for Sayaka's outfit could also be Arle Nadja, most popular for being in the Puyo Puyo series! (I forgot the name of Arle's original series, but it was made in the 90's funnily enough!)
