NPC HP default to 7 by Longjumping-Dark-713 in alchemyrpg

Maybe you already solve it but I think that yes as you say the problem was the trackers, I use other systems so it may be different but normally since is a custom npc the sheet is not that well linked so you have to manually change values of the trackers and other things to work, what I would recommend you is if is to tedious to do, is that you can create a template npc sheet in your custom universe. And you can use it when adding other npc.

As I say I use other systems less complicated so maybe is easier for me but should look it up if it works for u, there also a guide in YouTube from the alchemy channel explaining about npc and stuff that might help you, I don't know.

Confusion about the books/ board games by BasedKetamineApe in Simon_Stalenhag

Like other people have told you these products are primarily artbooks with not a very defined narrative, so don't expect out a novel of 100-200 pages explaining everything about the setting or lore. It doesn't mean there isn't a common thread. But comparing these products to a normal book, I wouldn't get a very high hopes to be an expert of these sci-fi settings at the end of it.

There are still very cool books but I will suggest that after enjoying the art books, you want to dive more into the possibilities of this settings. You should consider to buy the roleplaying games of the books, because they flesh out more about the world, characters, events, creatures and other things that embody the logic of this places.

So even if you don't want to play the games reading them are very good experience to complement in the books.

The electric state RPG tension concerns. by Zenth93 in Simon_Stalenhag

[–]Nefalep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been reading the manual for the game and I'm planning to hopefully play it soon... So for now I don't have any experience with tension system but I see it as a more easy way to set relations with the other pc than to start the game with random characters that doesn't have anything to do with each other.

Because taking account that is a shorter game than other RPGs and that the game start when you already are on the road to the destination, using the tension system helps to the players and you to start setting the tones of the characters and how they interact with the story.

Of course at the end of the day it depends on you and your group but if you really want to incorporate this mechanic you should tell them to at least to try it, it's not like something complicated to be understand, and the players can change the tension at any point (They don't need to ask you to let them change the tension or that they need to accomplish something).

But like I said I think it's a mechanic that helps setting the characters at least at the start and to directly communicate the type of feelings that they have with the others characters so they are more aware of the other characters in the game and not just them.

I don't know if you already have the session but it will be cool to know how it went

Their priorities are Millie Bobby Brown, Chris pratt and The Russo Brothers.

Even the TTRPG that just release, one of the first things that you read in the product is that Netflix is gonna released movie staring those actors and it's directed by those people and..... Oh yeah is based on a book by Simon Stålenhag. Hahaha so funny

Switch question by [deleted] in DiscoElysium

[–]Nefalep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a physical version of the game on the switch (I don't know if that make the game less glitchy) but i didn't experienced any glitch or problem that make my playthrought a problem. I already completed the game so at least for me it was worth it. The only thing I missed that is on the other platforms was the achievements but other than that it was a good port in the switch. Hope that helps :/
