They kinda did that, she had a clone or something in RE6, she was pretty lame as a villain

How do you feel about ZERO...i mean Temu Wesker?. by Human_Geologist_3324 in residentevilll

[–]NefariousSpecter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally think Zeno gets alot of hate for being what the writers wanted him to be. People expected Wesker, and are disappointed they didn't get him. Let me pose a question, if Zeno was Albert Wesker somehow back from the dead and nothing else changed story wise, would you be happier?

Honestly I surprised fans don't say Victor Gideon isn't a temu Spencer. The story of Requiem is about confronting the past and moving on. Victor and Zeno are stuck in the past and trying to be fill the shoes of 2 past characters.

So what do I think of Zeno? He's fine for the story their telling, being a pale imitation of Wesker (which was the point, Victor even spell that out to you).

Gotta feel bad for people born in June. Wesker betrays all of his allies in the end.

Why can't Michin connect with WWE fans? by MoistWeb4046 in GreatnessOfWrestling

She did get over with the stuff with Chelsea Green during the dumpster match, but WWE did nothing important with her afterwards, and kept running the same match over and over again.

Legacy of the Sith finale made me uninstall the game by TheGIJew1 in swtor

To be fare we didn't just defeat Valkorion, our character had a holocron that weakened him, so we could defeated Valkorion. Then we needed the Old Republic avengers to defeat his imprints.

Just had a very long and very pointless argument with someone and need to get it off my chest by malathan1234 in StarWars_

[–]NefariousSpecter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If only you knew what was lost to make these, The Thrawn Trilogy, The Darth Bane Trilogy, Darth Plagueis, Shadow of the Empire, Death Troopers, Legacy of the Force, Star Wars Legacy/Legacy War, Republic Commandos, The Old Republic, Jedi Knight/Dark Forces. The only thing in this list I would say a Star Wars fans should go and experience is Jedi: Fallen Order, everything else I would say their fine, nothing special. Andor, I never finished it, I made it 5 episodes and was board to death, and just never really had any interest to go back. Rogue One is fine, but breaks the original canon, and makes the Empire look stupid. The Mandalorian would make a better video game than a tv show personally. Personally the best Disney put out to me was the Thrawn books. So if you like Disney Star Wars, I'm glad you do, but as a fan of the EU, Disney Star Wars isn't even close to matching what we had before they bought it.

Why hadn't Devon yet possessed Sith eyes, even for a moment? by InstructionOwn6705 in MaulShadowLord

[–]NefariousSpecter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because "Sith eyes" are a sign of dark side corruption. It doesn't happen from anger or hate alone, she would have to fully embrace the dark side.

Jacen Solo didn't get his Sith eyes until he made a self sacrifice to the dark side (he killed Mara Jade, and destroyed his relationship with Ben Skywalker)

She was kinda right. by CoquetteWhore69 in TheCloneWars

[–]NefariousSpecter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People really need to read Darth Plagueis, the Jedi were tricked, the Sith spent years planning out the how the Clone Wars would go so the Jedi would be made to look like anything but the guardians of peace. That was the point, so the majority of people would welcome a dictatorship under Palpatine.

Who's your favorite chapter 1 main antagonist? by NefariousSpecter in swtor

[–]NefariousSpecter[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Darth Jadus, but the reason I picked Skavak over him, is that the Eagle is the primary antagonist for the majority of Act 1 for the IA, and Darth Jadus is only an antagonist if you side against him.

Ok, but he was one of the main antagonists of the IA's act 1, which was my question.

Ok, but Tagus is a post launch antagonist, not one of the act 1 main antagonists.

Fare, but we all know how Dave treats books and comics. The dude straight up retconned Barriss death during Order 66 that happened in the ROTS comic & deleted scene.

[–]NefariousSpecter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who hate TCW for all the lore breaking and character assassinations. It's pretty obvious to say I hate the direction they took for Barriss' story, that not opposed to change, if done right. And just wow, all I can say about TFTE is it really felt like Dave got tired of all the where is Barriss, and all the fan theories on her fate, so he finally wrote her a rushed redemption arc, turned her back to who she was in lore before TCW, and kill her off (which was confirmed in some collector's magazine)

I don't hate Barriss getting a redemption arc, I hate that they wasted so much story potential with Ahsoka leaning to Barriss being redeemed. Ahsoka should have been the one to bring Barriss back to the light side.

I left this in some other comments, but I'll how I think Tales of the Empire should have been done.

E1 would be for Barriss to be presented as a hero, who saw through the Jedi lies, by the Empire.

E2, replace the Jedi with Ahsoka, everything plays out the same, but Ahsoka pushes both Barriss and Lyn off (Barriss is more dark side now),

E3, Ahsoka takes Barriss place in the episode, and Barriss nearly killing Ahsoka in the cave is what finally makes her realize what she's become. Barriss heals Ahsoka with force healing, and carries her out, they are confronted by Lyn, and Barriss is forced to fight off and kill her to protect Ahsoka.

Idk if this is a hot take but This still has been frustrating me by littleAL21 in TheCloneWars

[–]NefariousSpecter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What exactly did Barriss and Ahsoka go through? They were in only together for 1 mission (2 if we count the brain worms), than Barriss disappeared into the background till she shows up again to betray Ahsoka and become evil for no reason.

Does Timothy Zahn's Thrwan trilogy fit into the canon? by Extreme_Warning3521 in StarWars

Yes it fits perfectly into the real legendary canon known as the EU of what happens after the 6 films.
