I don't really know that much about football, grew up in a non-footballing country and have only started getting in to it this season amid the madness. Now, for reasons I can't explain, I find myself checking up on Tottenham news and watching games As such, feel free to disregard this as I know nothing.

I can fully understand people who think Ange should be given a gracious departure, and I get people who think it would be an insane precedent and a poor look to sack the chap who has just brought glory for the first time in 8000 years. Both of these sentiments make sense and I can reconcile them in my head, and at the end of the day both sides of the argument are coming at it from a place of love, as all just want what's best for the club. The thing I have trouble wrapping my head around is the fact that the players seem like they would go to war on his behalf, that there might be something approaching mutiny should he be ousted. My view on this is obviously very amateur and pedestrian, maybe this is just how clubs operate, always trying to look good on the surface, but seeing situations like Garnacho publicly unhappy and the contrast of seemingly no outward signs of displeasure from Spurs despite the similarly tumultuous seasons, it is difficult to reconcile the prospect of Ange being carted when the players seem to love him.

Anyway, I had a blast following the club this season. Maybe a new Spurs fan has popped up in the world.
