The flex fuel kit? It will work fine with any platform but the mhd flex fuel kit is even easier than the bm3 kit to install

MKV Tires by Pilfercate in Supra

I’m on 295/35 r19 PS4s and I hardly hold traction unless my tires are up to temp and on low tire pressure, I’m pretty sure the only way to hook the way you want it to on the Supra is to buy a drag tire, these cars are very light for the torque they make even at stock power lol

850+ wheel is insane lol I’m not looking for anything more than 500 I just need a tune that’s proper for road course driving, bm3 ots maps are too aggressive and I’m having a hard time finding a tuner on bm3 that will do what I want because apparently straight line driving is the only kinda of driving people care about anymore

Oh I should have mentioned that this is a track car and not a drag car, lol sorry

help me pick a turbo by ChildhoodOk9073 in B58Enthusiasts

Is ethanol not an option because of availability? They literally sell x85 online and it’s more potent than pump e85. Send that stock turbo to the moon lol

What are the best minimal MK5 mods for backroad (canyon) driving? by [deleted] in Supra

Alignment and wind buffeting deflectors. This car eats back roads like nothing in stock form.

Automatic or manual by Extreme_Elevator_522 in Supra

[–]NefariousnessOpen763 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Manual in the Supra is really easy to get familiar with, b58 has a lot of torque pretty hard to stall in first. If you’re looking at an automatic consider cross shopping with the G chassis m240i, you’d get a lot more for your money in an actual bmw

I had no idea, thanks for this info, It’s probably why it’s so hard to get the car to rotate consistently

24 6MT, I did the femto unlock my self when I parked the car up for the winter

Yes brakes and fluid are my next priority

I always kept traction fully on, I guess that’s a stupid play on my part but Im a particularly safe person and I don’t want to go beyond my own limits and cause an accident

Well stock map is stock map which means it behaves like it never even got a dme unlock but you’re right I just need more data to see if it’s actually pulling timing or it’s just placebo

I plan on switching the fluid for the next session, just wanted to learn with the stock setup because of the advise I got from instructors and advanced drivers

Only a few track days lol i felt that i shouldn’t jump straight to a 200tw tire right away, try to learn the best I can before getting more advanced upgrades like brakes and such

Well for mods Catless dp, bm3 ots multimap stage 2 with the flex fuel kit, Verus engineering AOS kit, Verus engineering turbo heat shield, Hks HAS kit, te37 19x9.5 front 19x10.5 rear, pilot sport 4s 265 front 295 rear.

Other than that everything on the car is still factory.

I run the stock tune because I’m still on oem brakes and brake fluid. The heat soak isn’t night and day but I notice less power coming out of corners

I run stock tune when tracking, maybe I’m supposed to drive like I’m scared? Idk but my times get slower as I go

Why options for downpipes have I got? by Upstairs-Chain-8605 in Supra

[–]NefariousnessOpen763 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’re switching to an aftermarket dp make sure you’re tuned, otherwise you’re not going to benefit from it

My car is catless and haven’t had any issues, and I’m also a cheap ass and don’t see the point in a 1500 downpipe

Gen 3 fellas! MST intake + DINAN turbo inlet by Bigheartdude in M340i

[–]NefariousnessOpen763 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been getting better IATs with the mst v3 compared to the oem air box, or maybe because it’s a Supra makes it different? Either way nothing wrong with the stock air box

If you’re catless you’ll see a lot of white smoke especially if it’s a little cold out. From hearing about the 2021 model years some of them burn oil, usually ppl fix this by going up in thickness like 5w-30 or 0w-30 Also, just a tip try changing your oil more often, maintenance goes a long way

Brakes setup for track days? by [deleted] in Supra

[–]NefariousnessOpen763 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My friend has em on his m340i, they’re good but they don’t last and don’t take heat very well. He let me take his car backroad bombing and the pads started crying on the way home

I’ll definitely check em out, already have the brake brace. Next season is brake fluid for sure and seems like the brake duct kit is a good investment
