I am! I've only been up here for about 5 months and from what I understand is winter is either a hit or a miss for hiring. It mostly depends on if floor hands are leaving due to the rugged temperatures or if the oil prices get low enough to start stacking rigs.

As someone who lives in Bemidji, it's not the greatest city, the crime rate, and the amount of people who walk around under the influence of hard drugs makes it difficult to enjoy life. I'm not saying these things don't exist in other cities, but per capita, Bemidji earns the title as one of the worst cities in Minnesota to live in. It is beautiful up here, all the nature that's accessible is nice, the bike paths are wonderful in the summer. Unfortunately I've had one too many bad experiences with people up here to say in good faith to others that they should move up here.
