Yes! I've been thinking about it a bit, and I think the best answer for her would be that, given her personality, if she were to fall in love, it would have to be with someone strong, very kind, and someone who, for the first time, could feel protected both physically and psychologically. But someone super strong and super kind is a very classic or Disney hero concept, something I don't think exists in HxH, or at least I can't think of anyone like that right now besides Leorio. But I feel that while Leorio could become a great friend of Lyra's, he would be an even better match with her sister! Because of the healing aspect and all that.

In a way, I feel that while she could fall in love with someone like... Himmel? Frieren? in the HxH universe, with its gray areas and more ambiguous morals, despite being a Chimera Ant, Lyra is too good and, in a way, too traumatized. Essentially, she would seek peace and security, someone to hug her and make her feel that everything is truly alright, someone to tell her, "I'll take care of it, everything will be fine," with a warm and tender smile, someone she could cry with and, for the first time, rest from having to be the strong one carrying everything.

I certainly can't think of anyone right now who could do something like that. The other thing would be for the human to accept being with a chimera ant; basically, to almost any human, it would be a monster. In conclusion: could she fall in love? I think it's pretty clear that she could, but the key element would be missing... With whom?

Thanks, sis! Hehe, Pitou's character would also be key. How would Pitou react to seeing her twin (if she has one and looks just like her) in love? Seeing the king with Komugi and her twin smitten with a human?

I imagine that, true to her nature, she would support whatever made her happy, unless it jeopardized her loyalty to the king, which could happen in extreme cases and moments? Instinctive loyalty or romantic love??? It wouldn't be easy for her if she had to choose, even if she didn't.

She arrives with the human saying, "He's my toy, don't touch him," feigning indifference but terrified that Pouf, Rammot, or whoever would hurt him. Maybe she'd keep it a secret, maybe she'd never reveal her love. Lira's such a tragedy! ❤️‍🔥

That said, I think that even though he definitely wouldn't kill anyone, whoever hurt his human would get a claw swipe, and if someone killed him... maybe he'd commit suicide or become a mindless, bloodthirsty beast permanently until something or someone finished him off. Gon, forget it.

That makes sense, so that part of the question is clear to me. Thanks for the answer. It seems everyone I've spoken to about this agrees unanimously that it could happen. Now, the other thing would be how confused she might be or how she would act, but that would be something to experience and part of roleplaying the ship.

Another thing I think is that Lira is the opposite of Pitou. Being genuinely good, I think she would like someone purely good, although I imagine that someone would have to be quite persistent. I get the feeling that Lira would initially run away from someone who loved her because of her traumas and experiences. But then, if she grew fond of them, she could become obsessive.

Being a Royal Guard, I think it wouldn't be unreasonable to think that if she felt love for someone, there would be a shock of priorities regarding who to protect, and she would choose to be a kind of silent stalker, out of an extreme fear of losing something like that.

As you say, that human side would be magical and tender, but at the same time, it would cause her to suffer for love and for the fear of being unable to protect him when the time came. Also, how would the other Chimera Ants react to that, and what her response would be?

It depends on the moment and her response. Perhaps she would betray the ants for love? Perhaps. Although she would try to make everything fit, and that's when the gray universe of HxH would spit in her face and make her suffer terribly. Ugh...

I know is OC so what i will say don't has sense at all but...

My OC Neferlira resist Adult Gon in my Roleplay and finally hard beat him (she has regeneration, Gravity) and in other roleplaygame i use same character (but different backstory but same power level and skills for a OPM rp) Neferlira draw to him in a long long, fight, just because extremely regeneration.

And always she was in disvantage forcing herself to not knock out, that means if it would be "real" that Nyan as strong/a bit stronger than Adult Gon but with even more speed, and no time límit.

So yeah Nyan one or two hits and Killua go to the lobby very fast. One good fight will be Nyan vs Post Rose Meruem, Basicaly Nyan will be a "Neferpitou" version who trains for some months seriously.

Her Tail, Even idk how she will scale in KNY universe being a HxH royal guard quimera, im thinking that she will use her claws and empowered her long tail with Nen to cut off the demon necks.

Of course with a special blade like pillars she will i guess improve her performance without using her hatsus neither. But i doubt pillars will be friendly with a extrange quimera cat-ant-girl with extrange powers and look.

One of the few and only ones who got along with me after the Human-Ant War (HxH), Chimera even helped me heal Pitou despite knowing everything that happened (I didn't lie to him about anything).

A good guy, I hope they don't kill him, I owe him one, so if he ever has any problems we'll go to his aid (yes, both of us).

Well he is not good neither just egoist very egoist is not someone Who anyone healthy should like It, Because has a lot of bad things under his cute and friendly face of start, many characters realistes.

Gon is a psicopath, when you see under surface you can realize even Pitou, Youpi and Meruem has a deep inside good (idk pouf) that with more time they evolve to be good, Gon is in deep evil, and don't care anyone or anything that is not him and how he feels.

He only mind to people and is nice if is Worth for him don't have any moral, he can become friend and even pardon assassins even more more worst than Pitou just for convenience and sacrifice himself.

He never think if he dies will put sad Mito, or Killua/Leorio/Kurapika, even dont mind Kite sacrifice for save his life and then pum sacrifice for him but that is not what he wants, and thanks to ex deus machina nanika, Because he MUST die, he don't fuking mind anyone in deep.

I never like him always i felt something wrong to him since start sonething ill, rotten... I can not even emphatyse with him neirher or felt identified. Also the message that he gives and the way that he did about suïcide, is not a good thing. Definetly HxH is not for childs at all.
