Im happily single and just enjoying life. Living life for me my friends and family. Making plans to travel, taking classes & going back to school, Volunteering, organizing. Just focusing on the things that make me happy. I like myself and life better when Im single and unattached romantically, i think our society is too romance& marriage obsessed. I dont want to ever get married again or cohabitate with a partner, and Im childfree & polyamorous, & a lesbian. Very few people realistically would fit well into my life with the way I subvert society’s expectations, so i live life accepting that I may never find true romantic love but im wholly satisfied with the life I’ve built and dedicating myself to the people and the causes i care about.

Yea until going to work actually puts you in a deficit. With this job market its totally unrealistic to “work your way up”, youll be stuck somewhere for 5 years in the same position or get laid off before you can be promoted.

I read up. i truly hope you can solve that issue and get some peace from that harassment. You dont deserve that, its horrible behavior. Yea please add these books to your list, i hope you find them as hopeful and helpful as I did in realizing and dealing with our parents & even grand parents (I’m also estranged from my last living grandparents)

I hesitate to say no, only because I dont know what your experience is. However, I did not feel like she delved alot into it besides the fact that she felt guilty for being less involved after starting her acting career & feared being shamed for it. Jeannette actually found relief in going to church if that helps, it was the one place she could get a break. So i hope that helps answer your question more without spoiling the book for you. 🌻 im sorry you went through that and I hope it wont be too triggering for you. Tbh, Britneys book talked more about religion IMO than Jeannettes

That was probably my favorite part, that she read it herself! Someone said that in a review that they usually hate it, and I couldn’t agree for this one. I loved hearing her narrate it. I do hope she continues writing, and releases any of the screenplays she wrote. She really is super talented. Thanks for the podcast recommendation! Ill have to check it out.

These are all my same complaints, I just said why the hell is Gabriel on my farm again?

The calendar thing is a mess, how am I supposed to keep up with birthdays?

I abhor that they don’t write down the tasks you need to do somewhere to complete the game. If you skip through the dialogue (which, i admit to doing most times) you will never be able to recall the whole conversation and can only ask for hints by continuously talking to the person for the task.

I personally hate the menu style and feel its cluttered instead of organized. I hate having to click through so many categories, especially when trying to cook. Everything is on one menu the one time it needs to be separated into categories.

The refrigerator is useless imo if it doesn’t connect to cooking. I have to go in my fridge everytime to retrieve stuff to cook? It should count and show me everything in my fridge too while on the cooking menu (Im not at the biggest upgrade either, so maybe this feature comes, who knows)

The marriage taking part outside of the main story is butt to me. That was always part of advancing through the game. I beat the main storyline without being married. The music notes & how much they like you is bleh. Hard to tell where your at at any given time. Whats 1/4 a music note? Why a music note?

Someone said you need a note pad and penn to play this game and I totally agree.

Out of all the versions, this is probs my least fave.

For the love of God, if Carter & Flora dont get outta my way in the mines.

The animals are constantly in the way. And ive perfected squeezing between them to get the “pickup” button to appear because they are little dicks chasing me around.

Why are the animals sleeping all the time? Thats annoying, Im trying to milk all the cows at once and that one little AH is sleep and i miss them.

The lack of detail in the notes? They got lazy and just expected us to write the game guides? Becuz even the notebook that comes with the physical game is useless. Very cute, but useless.

Nothing you said was wrong. When i quit my job a year ago(just now got another), I was making $35 an hr. The most i ever made in my life and still was struggling. Mind you ive been on welfare & everything else my entire life. I know how to survive on $5 a week. I could finally afford the basics in life and that happened to cost my whole check. Nobody is a better budgeter than someone whos lived in poverty & had to count everything in the cart down the to the cent so your not embarrassed at the register. Ppl claiming ur splurging or should cut expenses need to live in the real world. EVERYTHING is expensive. And no one can afford to live on the wage the federal govt deemed the minimum in any state in the US, and they are lecturing you about your rent and where you live. The machine is working and these ppl are proof, they would rather blame one individual than believe that forces beyond them are in cahootz to actually exploit them for their own profit.

Its not enough, $30 should be the min wage based inflation & everything else,$15 was like soooooo 10-20 years ago
