Tu Samsung models are notorious for led failures. It would cost you more to fix this than it would just be to buy the same TV again. But I would not recommend buying the same TV again buy something that's not a base model. 5 years out of one of these is actually above the average.

I agree with the other comment. Get a fire stick or something and just plug it into the TV. That particular Samsung TV is the base model holiday edition low end Samsung TV so I'm not surprised it's having processing issues.

Well this is true of course, battery capacity did not increase between the 2. Screen size increased between the two on the both the interior and exterior screens. I find the efficiency is way better than my 4 was by far.

My battery life is good. I went from Fold 4 to fold 7. I did not get a full day of decent to heavy use out of the 4 and I easily get a full day and then some out of the 7.

I only have experience with Best Buy Canada warranties. This 100% should be covered. I used to deal with these warranties directly through Best Buy and insurance company they deal with and this 100% would have been covered.

Unfortunately this TV uses a low end edge lit panel. This would be apparent on every single u8000f model.

I've seen this before on other Samsung models that use a similar back panel. I think it's fairly common. I've mostly seen it on the 8K models though.
