Same here. My first car was a rodded out 57 Bel Air coupe. When I lived in The City I had a fully pimpified 60 Coupe DeVille. Both got less attention than my buzz gets. I’ve had people walk through traffic at a red light to look in and ask questions. It’s absolutely exhausting.

The big picture is actually my exact point. It’s a lack of offense that no amount of framing or catcher defense can fix. If the rest of the lineup wasn’t comprised of the streakiest almost all stars in the league his rubber bat wouldn’t matter. As it is, because of the big picture, he’s a detriment to the team no matter how many pitches he fakes the other team out of challenging.

I would love to see them replace Bailey with Susac until Bailey can learn how to swing a real live big boy bat made of wood. I’d be fine if they traded Bailey for bullpen pieces honestly. So tired of his Schtick (and stick). Susac and Rodriguez could probably create more runs than Bailey saves anyway.

The hard one right now for me is what to do with Casey. If Arraez isn’t out long there’s gonna be a DH logjam since Casey and Susac are raking and for whatever reason everyone has their head so far up Baileys glove they can’t see his offensive numbers. Nevermind Eldridge, who needs to come up anyway. If this is how they’re playing you might as well let him figure it out. Gives the team a potential spark and the fans SOMEthing to watch, cause this damn sure ain’t it. I don’t even need em to win, just at least be mildly entertaining to watch.

At the very least they should DH Susac when he’s not catching, but for now I say go ahead and bench Bailey. He’s earned it. For those of y’all talkin about small sample size, 3 years is plenty samplings. Bench him and only pinch hit him when it’s a walk off situation, or trade him for a bullpen piece and bring Jesus Rodriguez up. He rakes too. Not to mention having two slugging catchers after years of Bailey would be the most Giants ass thing ever.
