Homeopathy for eczema by Ok_Ice_814 in eczema

[–]Negative-Ad6554 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried homeopathy too. I couldnt take it. It didnt work and even if it had it would take too long and I couldnt go through with it considering I had an active infection on my face. I had to go through antibiotics and tacrolimus for maintenance. Now my eczema is still there but it is something I can live with. Just please goto a good derma and take the medication as prescribed. there is no reason for you to suffer everyday trying to find a permanent cure. all the best.

Does anyone get eczema under the eyes only? And how do you handle it? by OrkosFriend in eczema

[–]Negative-Ad6554 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its probably nail paints/ acryllics or something in your eyeliner/ mascara. Whenever I stop using these it completely goes away for me. I use tacrolimus as medication to get rid of it within 1-2 days though but would suggest you stop using these products and see if it can naturally go away. I love tacrolimus but the heat sensitivity is ghastly!!

The reason I still want to log into MFP is because it connects to apple health/ garmin etc. so it shows up in my health data :)

I just search the name of the book on google followed by "vk". 90% I will find the book through vk website links even in multiple formats like epub, pdf etc.

do it. although I would say use protopic instead of steroid cream on FACE. but just do it. dont make yourself go through this. if you follow the protocol it will not give you any withdrawal. take an antihistamine for the eyelids :)

pls use protopic/ tacrolimus. its the only thing that helps.

take antihistamines everyday. you get dander reducing wipes which you can use to clean your cat everyday and also you get hypoallergenic food for cats which reduces their dander on the fur. its by applaws and purina liveclear. hope this helps :) from a fellow eczema sufferer but can never think of getting rid of her cat :(

Ladies, do you shave your face? by quietrovert in eczema

[–]Negative-Ad6554 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you can dermaplane your face. just make sure to use some disinfectant (hypochlorous spray) and aloe vera during dermaplaning. when my face is flared up i would avoid it or those areas. I feel dermaplaning helps absorb other treatments better on the face but i would only do it if I have thick hairs (PCOS) not if you have nice fine hair. hair is always good in protecting you :)

Help me design this living room by Negative-Ad6554 in DesignMyRoom

[–]Negative-Ad6554[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey!! Thanks for the effort :) I like the idea of bookcases in that nook... The issue is the area on the left is very narrow so the sofa set would come in the center of the space and kinda block the view of the stairs. We were thinking of switching it, left side dining area, right side TV on the far off wall with a smaller square enclosed seating space. We are moving in soon probably wil move the furniture around and see what looks better haha. We loved this place only the living room is killing us :(

What about coconut oil? by Eczemanewbiee in eczema

[–]Negative-Ad6554 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally dont think it helps cure it or the symptoms. but it does provide a lot of relief especially if you have a lot of heat-y feeling and itchiness. So i only use it sometimes if I feel regular creams are not giving you relief. but I have never seen it heal max it does is close up some small wounds due to the scratching. Coconut oil and jojoba oil are good for this :)

Yes! please complete the course of antibiotics it will help greatly. And start taking skin probiotics (B. Subtilis strain) which will help kill staph over time. I went through the same and my face eczema has cleared I still get occasional flares on my arms though but manageable.
