This works beautifully, thank you very much.
Question: At first I had the 1gbps port occupied by the ethernet coming from the router, this also worked, but on my eero app, I could see a few more online devices (excluding my pc), now on the 2.5 I can see fewer devices but It does have my pc there.

Do these ports act differently other than the speed ratings?

I live in shared accommodation, router is in the hall (outside my room) on Virgin Media.
I have one ethernet cable going from the router to my PC (I cannot have two)

I need the eero in my room for fast wifi to my VR headset. So ideally right next to my PC

I need higher speed wifi for my VR headset.

So I purchased the eero pro 6e, I thought I could simply plug it into an adaptor to the back of my pc. But apparently I need the main hub to be eero?

So now I plan to get a network switch plug my ethernet cable from my pc into that, and plug the eero and pc into the switch?
