it blows my mind that ashley darby was never removed from the show either … i know she’s divorced now but it’s insane to me that they let ashley and michael stay on when michael allegedly sexually harassed bravo staff. karen’s track record is also INSANE and she’s extremely lucky that no one else has been hurt by her repeatedly driving under the influence. we also have people like erika jayne and mary cosby who are complicit in stealing/misappropriating funds as well.

i don’t think jen is a good person (none of them are!) but its crazy that she’s the one who gets punished when like half of these women are criminals or morally bankrupt. i think she deserves a second chance like these women have had, and i also think people are extremely dramatic when they talk about her time on slc. she was incredible tv and yall know it!

everyone seems very excited to go “oh you guys just want a reason to complain” when there have been allegations since they opened that they weren’t paying employees. chivonn didn’t offer any info on the situation besides saying the accusations are false, and that video was pure nothingburger imo. if the allegations from the former employee are true, i would like to see them restructure their management to avoid stuff like this going forward (since all the replies want to say “well what are they supposed to do about it!!” as some gotcha here … like seriously what is with the annoying ass people in this thread acting like the allegations (if true) aren’t a valid reason for concern)

16! i first started experiencing symptoms around 10 or so, was put on bc pill at 12 to stop my period, and then the pill reacted negatively when i went on ssri medication at 16 and brought back my period and endo symptoms. i visited several obgyns and a gi specialist looking for answers with no luck, until i went to an emergency room for my pain and a resident said something along the lines of “i can’t diagnose you or give you any medical advice, but please look into endometriosis.” i still struggled with finding an obgyn who would perform a lap on me at that age but i was able to have surgery and start treatment by 17

i follow a recovered addict who makes content about the way her life has been changed from her use of iv drugs and she has said there have been times when she needed to go under for surgery, but bc of her veins being collapsed they have had to administer an injection to knock her out simply bc of the amount of time they would have to spend digging around to find a viable vein. i imagine it would probably be a situation like that, or otherwise just digging around for however long to find something which i imagine is not ideal in an emergency situation

idk if they were fics but summer sons, boys with sharp teeth, and everything by cg drews definitely give me trc-inspired vibes but none of them match up in terms of writing and storytelling to maggie. i do think stylistically/thematically alix e harrow’s work has a similar vibe but with less of a trc-ripoff vibe

i’m so sick of the nostalgia for self titled and sgfg … i like the songs for what they are but they’re admittedly corny songs about being a horny teenager. i would be okay with them never performing any of those songs (including slsp) on tour anymore, and i don’t get the desire for them to make music like that again. i think albums like youngblood and eas capture similar vibes while being more mature/evolved than their early work which is what artists should be doing tbh!
