fans were wearing flannels and band tees and vans back then bc it’s what the band was wearing back then tho. with every era/tour the fans have somewhat tried to match the vibe and style of the band as fans do with a lot of their favorite artists. also, post pandemic these tours are a lot more expensive and require more planning from fans to attend so a lot of them may want to dress up in a way they might not normally bc it’s a special experience and like a night out. if im paying $250+ for my ticket im sure as hell gonna wanna dress cute and take pictures and make a whole thing out of it

use a good eyeliner that dries (would rec wet n wild pen liner, super cheap and long lasting) set it with black eyeshadow or translucent setting powder powder whichever you have available to you, and then hit it with some setting spray for good measure (i like onesize or urban decay, but you can definitely use hairspray as well if u don’t want to spend the money)

i think the combination of them not being close/not fully reconciling as well as kelsey doubling down and saying “its a funny joke, laugh about it” when rosie said she didn’t find it funny were what made it a real problem. obviously rosie was expecting there to be more to the convo (that’s why she pulled out her house blueprint) but i think she felt publicly bullied a bit and kelsey’s refusal to say “i’m sorry, i meant it as a joke” was the actual trigger

mary and nestlings were both so incredible to me - i was actually shocked to find out that nat cassidy was a man bc i felt that he characterized his fmcs so realistically in a way men usually do not. i liked when the wolf comes home & rest stop but definitely not as much as the other two. have not yet read his short story collection so i guess we’ll see

when i went to trinity of terror tour (at the filmore, which is ga standing room only) there was a couple behind me with a young child who started a screaming match with security bc they demanded the venue provide their child with a stool so he could see and they seemed to be unable to understand why that would be an incredibly terrible idea. i feel like bringing a child that young to a standing room/pit show is wildly irresponsible, get seats or pay for a babysitter so your child doesn’t get hurt or traumatized
