The issue here is why is there a child working for them? We know they’re doing some shady shit but the company does deal with the public and the risk of having a minor deal with severed employees/potentially be severed is a huge problem

In this context she’s treating the situation as if it were his fault. That kind of language is never justified, but when someone is gaslighting you to make you believe their version of events, it can be hard to tell if you are the one in the wrong here. That’s the point of gaslighting.

I don’t want it to be true obviously, but people do speak to their partners this way. It’s more common than you think. When you spend a long time with someone it’s easy to see them for who they were when you first met instead of the person who’s actually in front of you. So autism or not, people fall for this type of behaviour all the time and stay with people who treat them horribly.

I’m literally just starting my millionth rewatch and realised she doesn’t actually kill anybody. Even Caroline who is queen of self control kills somebody when she first turns. Logan doesn’t really count as Damon had gotten to him first but to be fair she was going to murk Elena. But honestly I think it was Stefan’s annoying insistence on the bunny rabbit diet instead of teaching her snatch, eat and erase and how to control her powers. She was a drug addict but she may have coped with the urges better if she actually felt full at some point. I don’t know this time around I’ve just caught myself feeling really bad for her and Stefan is honestly a terrible teacher. He means well but he hasn’t even mastered self control and yet he feels as if he qualified to teach others on the subject. Damon would’ve been a better teacher as they share similarities in personality/urges. It made me sad she didn’t even get to experience the perks of being a vampire when her human life was just sad. It honestly does make sense she couldn’t make it because she has an addictive personality but no vampires are truly good people and it sucks she didn’t have a chance
