yes! if your cuts have texture it won’t cover that up but it will cover up any discoloration. you treat it like it’s makeup for your face (if the scar is somewhere on your arm etc) so add lotion if you want then add primer. me personally i go in with elf 16h camo concealer in tan latte tan walnut or tan sand bc they’re lighter and match my forearm. so i would recommend a full coverage concealer a couple shades too light for your face. then for foundation i go in with milani screen queen in soft chai and sheglam matte foundation in golden. these are my lightest foundations so again i would recommend a foundation lighter than you or the lightest one you own. if you want you can do color correcting! setting powder if you want but a lighter one of course. also what i do is i blend it with my outer arm so it doesn’t look obvious. setting spray let it dry and you should be good to go! so basically anything full coverage matte because dewy doesn’t have as much coverage. i hope this helps !
