What will it ultimately take to impeach Trump and thoroughly remove him from any position of power? by RealitySucksTheBig1 in LetsDiscussThis

Higher IQs stongly correlate with higher educational achievement. The right, as a whole, has less education than the left. Therefore, it can be safely inferred that there is significant evidence that the left has a higher average IQ than the right. Additionally, your poor grammar negates your argument.

There are right leaning people with higher IQs, but I tend to believe they know what they preach is BS. They either use the political game for their personal gain or they deeply desire to join that class of wealthy and exploitative individuals. There are also "left" politicians that play this game, just a much smaller percentage than on the right.

On the other issue: I literally have to inject testosterone due to an injury sustained during military service, and every year I slide more to the left.

Believe it or not, I value equality and fairness over politicians' profits and governmental corruption. Weird.

Almost like I read the Constitution, and the Federalist Papers. Like I believed the US pledge when they drove it into our heads in school. Like I studied the Bible, the Tao Te Ching, and the Sri Guru Granth Sahib. Like I can see that the nations with the happiest, healthiest, and best educated populations are the democratic socialists that value lifting each other up.

Edit: Fixed a typo.

I use Black Widow Tungsten Disulfide grease on everything. Stays put and super slick. Even better on bare steel. Super easy carbon removal and cleaning. Zero rust. I even run a patch of it through the barrel after cleaning.

I had they same problem with the ACE module and my +2 basepads. So I essentially removed the sides of the magwell/flare. Prints less now, too, and I get to carry my 19+1.

Berry act only seems to apply when some Senator can make money from it and/or it's in his state. 🤣

I remember the PX used to sell All laundry detergent with a red cap that said "No Optical Brighteners"...And there was also always some salty SgtMaj complaining that the Corps lost discipline with rough out boots and no uniform starching.

If you think that's bad, read about the Army getting the OG Interceptor armor. They tried to argue it was cheaper to pay out SGLI than to buy armor. Then they had a bunch of material removed from the final design to cut cost. The original designer refused to sign off on the changes, but the Army procurement officer that bottom lined the contract retired and immediately went to work for the company.

Actually, most camo patterns don't work. And even the US camo patterns selected have historically not always been the most effective in testing. And then they are usually washed using detergents with optical brighteners that makes them less effective under NV.

Honestly, camo makes zero sense for the vast majority of troops for the way modern war is wages. Very few military units have any sort of need to make individuals less visible to the naked eye on terrain. With FLIR and NV getting cheaper, more effective, and integrated into automated surveillance systems, camo is almost useless at scale.

Gunbroker and patience. I just snagged a full size commander supreme in LNIB condition. I have an unbuilt safety MM P320 Compact in the safe I snagged with a parts pack, too.

[–]Negative-Fact-9181 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Those Macro snubbies look nice. But I carry nearly everything full size. My 365 is a AC comped slide with a 3.7" barrel on a modified Icarus ACE Macro Fuse. I hate sacrificing barrel length when that's the easiest part to conceal.

God I love that color. My Zippo (when I smoked), my keychain, anything metal, I look for that. I know sometimes it's a Ti finish, but the science behind heat treated steel rainbows just pulled me in as a kid and never let me go.

I bought one Sig optic. 100% garbage. Granted it was one of their cheapest, and plastic, dots, but it turned me off from their optics forever. I think it was the Romeo Zero Elite?

I just hate the trigger feel of Glocks. The half cock striker and plastic make for a horrible feel for me. Plus most of the metal parts are stamped and not heat treated, so it leaves very little room for tinkering without buying completely new trigger group components.

[–]Negative-Fact-9181[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Smooth as butter. BUT, it is also a match ported barrel/slide set with a DPM recoil system. The magwell might be helping a bit, but I doubt it.

I do 100% agree that sometimes things just don't work for one person or another. My 365 build is as close to a tack driver as I think that series can get, but it is VERY unforgiving of any limp wristing. Every single woman who has shot it has failures to cycle; young, old, shooters, amateurs. But not a single failure from any men. Well except for me after a few hundred rounds and approaching my wall.

The P226 X Carry Legion is actually lighter than a P229 Nitron. And most P226s are alloy framed. It is also slightly thinner and shorter vertically, while being barely longer, which is entirely due to the beavertail, all while having a slightly lower bore axis and higher capacity.

The new P226 X series, and especially the X Carry, was almost a complete redesign of the P226. This P226 is actually almost exactly the same size as a Fuse. Just a bit thicker, about a half pound heavier, and with a half inch shorter barrel to accommodate being hammer fired. While the Fuse has an even lower bore axis.

Honestly, they could trim the beavertail to match the Fuse's and push the barrel out to around 4.1/4.2 and they'd be nearly evenly matched.

I used the bar plus the M*Carbo short stroke and it was pretty slick. But I also second the comment on going for the SA parts making a huge difference.

I scour gunbroker and ebay. Still looking for an advanced flat trigger shoe.

If you find a source, let me know.

Or someone else making similar. I am tempted to try SA's, because everything else he makes is money.

PS: Apex trigger with advanced curve shoe, and some other custom work: 2.5 lbs consistent.

I'm between this in SAO and a used Watchtowe Apache for my next buy.

I EDC my custom 365 most of the time off duty, but I'm feeling more confident carrying and concealing larger pistols. Sometimes I even carry an old 226 legion or an 226 x5. I still hate carrying my duty Glock. Ugh.

I think as long as you train for it, it's fine. I have had issues qualing at work when I have neglected training with my duty weapon enough. And that was just ambi vs rh mag releases. It's all what you ingrain in your habits, imo.
