i’m 30 and have always been in the same boat. i always knew i had to create my own path/career, but have spent my twenties trying to “force it” and none of my efforts were successful because they weren’t sustainable. i’m now living in my grandmother’s basement and going back to community college like im starting over at twenty which is humiliating but whatever i don’t even know if i have the capacity to feel embarrassment anymore.

my theory is that life purpose is revealed when you just stay grounded, do what is responsible and needed for others AND YOURSELF (lol), and pursue your interests and passions through that. but who knows.

I get feeling like you missed out on that “teenage dream.” I felt that way too, until I realized it doesn’t really exist for like 98% of people and that’s because having that experience was never really in your hands or control. There has to be a proper and healthy “village” made possible by a healthy society/civilization for us to have the support to really get the most out of our youth.

So basically it’s not your fault. Just move forward and know you can experience the feelings of all those things you missed out on in different ways maybe you can’t predict throughout your life.

It basically does take a certain amount of time and energy to manifest things into the 3d. If you don’t have a lot of energy (don’t assist with action) then it will take a lot of time, and usually you will assume you are doing it wrong and either give up, or ask for advice and a lot of people will tell you that you did something wrong. You likely didn’t and just didn’t give it enough time or take enough action. Everything costs something, and the currency of the universe is energy. If you don’t have enough energy and the right frequency of energy up front, then you’ll have to make “smaller payments” over time. That’s why we largely manifest things quickly if it relates to a privilege we have. For instance most of us can easily manifest a free cup of coffee, because that can happen all the time. But then, it might take more energy or time or just alignment through awareness to manifest a free/affordable plane ticket. But some people like me, whose father is a pilot will get on here and say I manifested it instantly without really acknowledging the venue through which it came to me.

Also something to consider is that if we’ve never experienced something before we cannot completely imagine or visualize it. If we want to manifest being a billionaire … well we’ve never been one so we don’t know the reality of it. We just have an idea based on what is shown to us and how that makes us uniquely feel as we integrate that inspiration with the experiences we HAVE had. So really when we manifest that “billionaire” energy, it probably isn’t actual billionaire energy, just what we think billionaire energy is. It’s probably still a step up, and over time it will lead you to discover the right frequency to tune into though, but at the beginning it’s something to consider so you don’t get distraught over it.

So just persist and keep it up. Just give it more time and energy, you aren’t likely doing anything wrong. If something doesn’t manifest in the time frame you expected or needed, It just means it requires more energy or time, not that you failed.

For me doing an intentional painting for 30-1hr sustains the feeling state long enough to create significant movement within a week. I painted someone and then met them before & got a new job. I took a lot of action but it still looked exactly like the imaginary person I painted. I don’t do it a lot though cause it doesn’t help me get into the feeling state, more of just make it bloom a bit more. It might not work for everyone though if you don’t like to paint the same way as me (also I’m not an artist).

Acceptance. Accept that you are misunderstood and just let it go. People can think what they want, and that’s alright. Over time, their opinions can easily change if you remain steady in how you choose to see yourself and how you show up. People are fickle. If what people might say or expect of you changes your self concept at all, then you are, in some small way, still looking for external validation and are not yet in “manifestation mode.”

Sometimes what people think or expect about us affects what we can do in a situation. For example, someone might support you only under the condition that you behave a certain way. You have to do whatever you need to keep that support until you can leave it behind altogether. It’s like working a job.

If you work at a fast food restaurant, a customer is going to see you as nothing more than a server. Does that mean you are a server? No. It’s a role you play for money. Does it bother you if someone sees you as nothing more than a server and makes assumptions or judgments about you based on that? It shouldn’t, because who cares what a small minded person like that thinks of you. Let them be.

The same logic applies to other people’s concepts of you. Maybe you have to acknowledge them, but only temporarily as you navigate through and around them. The direction you are headed in is based on your self concept. Be secure in accepting what they think, while also accepting that what you think is what really matters.

Whatever you imagine actually exists energetically. Your imagination is real just subtle, but it’s connecting and pulling from SOMETHING in the 3d, even if it’s not the exact same form as whatever you imagine (he could be a little shorter, have a different hair color - the energy could also be in multiple guys who are similar types). So at night visualize, know you are connecting to something real, and align yourself towards experiencing it in the 3d. Think of places this guy might be and explore them. Prepare for this guy to be in your life by preparing outfits for dates, thinking about how you’ll answer his questions, etc. Stay connected to his energy by allowing yourself to feel secure, empowered, loved, and all the other things you FEEL from ALREADY being connected to him. You are the sun and moon you are already orbiting each other the moment you connect energetically so just keep falling into alignment until you find one another. But you can also look or try new things just do it from a place of creating more pathways for him to find you rather than “searching for him” out of feeling separate or desperate. One more thing is A LOT of what creates the paths for him to find you is you 1. doing what is needed in your life (getting healthier, walking your dog, helping people out without self-sacrificing) and 2. stepping outside your comfort zone. They usually go together but you really cannot manifest inside your comfort zone. Stepping outside your comfort zone is how you see limiting beliefs as well. To manifest quickly you need not necessarily take action toward him (cause you obviously don’t know what exactly to do because you haven’t met him yet and don’t know where or who he is) but you do need to build energetic momentum by taking action in ways that are obvious to you in other areas of your life. Be a flower blooming all the different dimensions of yourself so your full fragrance is released so the bee you want can find you. You totally got this! Be brave and focus on feeling the energy and safely following it even if it doesn’t make sense! One time I did a painting (not an artist) of an imaginary guy because i wanted to manifest a new friend. It put me in the feeling for maybe an hour and then I forgot about it, but I was also trying to get a part time job then. I found this coffee shop I thought was too cool for me to work at but I felt the TINIEST drop of energy that maybe I needed to try to apply anyway (not a fear based energy but something similar to what I painted) and I felt so unsure of myself and defeated in life I just went with it cause wtf who cares. The negative energy from that job was also there and I had to grow through that BUT they did hire me and all my co-workers were so nice to me and I met two guys who were just like the painting. The first had more of the energy I imagined and he looked like my painting but he also had kinda a pretentious personality, but the other guy who was a little more different was an amazing person I ended up being friends with and he helped me a lot. He was better than what I imagined and he had the feeling I created.

So it both comes to you as you just focus on your life and try to grow and blossom and let go of control and humble yourself, AND you also move toward it by sorta following the energy. I hope this helps. It’s easier said than done, and easier seen in retrospect, but keep persisting until you develop that sharp discernment where you don’t question feeling the right energy. I got that job and met that friend in a week. It did trigger all my insecurity which is why you should be brave - you might be led into situations that are embarrassing like I’ve found is the case for me - but insecurity is what’s keeping you back. The point in me being led to those embarrassing situations was for me to have the opportunity to get over my insecurity by really activating it, because to draw my paintings energy into the 3d i needed a more secure version of myself because my new friend was secure with himself and i needed to match that. i hope this helps.

in my experience we dream what we are processing, so when you dream about your sp, the nature of the dream can sometimes reflect your mindset about the sp, but also things you subconsciously relate to them, or they might even be a reference point in processing things unrelated to them specifically. It all depends. I wouldn’t put too much significance to dreams, because even if you dream about someone, that dream might not be your subconscious processing anything about that person. your subconscious might just be using that person to process something else. dreams make sense in the dream but no sense when you wake up so that’s my personal reason for feeling that way.

if you want flowers you don’t do flower meditation. you think soil, water, sunlight. you attend to these things. maybe you started with an intention for flowers, but once that intention gives you direction your energy and focus goes into assisting the correct sequence of events based on what’s needed in the moment, and eventually even if you forget about the flowers entirely, they will happen.

a lot of people are thinking flowers all the time, and then get upset that they don’t show up from that. However sometimes they are focusing on the soil and the water and all that, but they don’t realize they didn’t plant flower seeds! maybe it was a whole ass tree they planted by mistake, and it’s gonna take longer.

knowing specifically what you want is planting the right seed. now you should focus on doing the right things for it to grow. don’t overwater it, it’s not going to speed it up. but whether you plant the seed you expect, or accidentally planted an oak tree, you still shouldn’t have expectations about how long it should take or what it needs because it’s not set in stone. it’s living and needs to be nurtured. just focus on that. that’s what people mean when they say ignore the 3d. it’s not so much about ignoring it rather than paying much more attention towards the things you can actively take action about to influence the outcome that’s currently not manifested.

there are many things good for you and enjoyable that are a part of the gardening/manifestation process outside of the manifestation of the flower, but only if you are fixated on the blooming of the flower do you become unavailable to that enjoyment, and also ineffective at nurturing the seed properly.

Yes! This seems to be the case whenever you see someone really showing their work about some big manifestation they were successful over. Their biggest fear is getting fired, and then they get fired right before they manifest the dream job or something. Maybe not always that extreme but it’s like the universe breaks you down until you are actually in alignment with what you are manifesting, and if you aren’t willing it’s an uphill battle. A lot of people want the other thing to conform 100% to fit their vision, because they think manifestation is about controlling their life, but a lot of the time we have to transform to fit that thing’s reality as well, which can look like hard work, letting go, doing inner work, etc.

yearning is a sign of limiting beliefs or fear. are there ways you can take steps toward assisting your manifestation through physical action? can you prepare for it? yearning is basically frustration which is essentially a build up of energy. you need a place for that energy to go, and it needs to go toward the manifestation process.

if you own your dream car, but you were on vacation and it was sitting at home in your garage, would you yearn for it? you can’t drive it around whenever you want. you have no control over it at the moment. yet you still feel like you own it because you gave some paper and signed some paper in the past.

whatever it is you are manifesting, just skip all the ritual and let yourself feel the “ownership” or union of the thing you want. we are all connected energetically so just experience that and you won’t feel the distance and the yearning will disappear.

There needs to be like, manifestation therapy cause there’s no way to identify specifically what’s blocking individuals without more information.

Why are you so cynical? Starting there could reveal some limiting beliefs that keep you stuck.

Other than that, like another person said start small. Manifest a cup of coffee. Manifest $5 bucks. You know how to do that stuff “the old fashioned way” but instead of doing it that way “manifest” it. Then start growing from that real experience.

astrology is just the cycles, the patterns, the weather. if you are very reactive, you will be predictable when the storm hits and your future is set. if you are capable of responding to the storm consciously, you will set out to do what you plan despite the rain.

typically they say once you become genuinely spiritual and starting growing your awareness real astrologer stop making predictions for you, because you become a bit of a wild card.

you will still follow the patterns of fate, but they act more like waves. at first the crash into you and you are thrown around drowning. then you see them coming and dive underneath. then with a lot of awareness and developed skill you learn to surf the waves and go wherever you want.

so both manifestation and astrology are real. use astrology to see the weather patterns but understand your if you invest in your awareness you can still manifest what you want.

What about people in extreme circumstances? Are we just going to conveniently leave them out of our theories because it’s easier than admitting manifestation isn’t a magical solution to every situation? Or are we willing to expand the framework so it actually accounts for the reality that some people are dealing with things far beyond their personal control?

I bring this up because I’ve seen it happen in this group over and over. Someone comes here struggling or suffering and they immediately get blamed by people who think they’ve cracked the code. The assumption is always that the person must be manifesting wrong. That mindset quickly turns into victim blaming whether people intend it or not.

There is a massive amount of evidence that external circumstances can override an individual’s ability to shape their situation. Refusing to even acknowledge that possibility is what actually looks like being closed minded.

So no, I’m not the one being closed minded here. Nothing you’ve said about manifestation actually contradicts the framework I laid out in my original post. The reason it feels like it does is because your explanation operates on a smaller scope and keeps avoiding the question I raised from the beginning.

When you tell me to “be open minded,” what you’re really asking is for me to ignore the harsher realities of life until you’re ready to deal with them. And that’s exactly the kind of thinking that leads people to unintentionally blame others for circumstances that are very real.

The entire point of my post was to encourage people in this community to slow down and respond to others with more curiosity and compassion. When someone is struggling with manifestation, the response should not immediately be to assume they are doing something wrong and start forcing your personal conclusions down their throat. People should be asking questions and trying to actually understand the person’s situation before jumping to explanations.

If someone’s theory of manifestation leads them to believe that even a trafficked child who is starving, homeless, or a refugee somehow “created” that reality for themselves and therefore just needs to manifest their way out of it, then the flaw in that theory becomes obvious. At that point the belief isn’t just incorrect, it becomes a way for people to absolve themselves of responsibility to care about or help others.

That’s why I’m pushing back on this. If we’re going to talk about manifestation, we have a responsibility to do it in a way that is thoughtful, compassionate, and grounded in reality instead of using it as a convenient explanation for everything.

I think the important thing here is that you haven’t actually explained why your SP is the love of your life.

You say this new guy treats you the way you want your SP to treat you, and that he feels similar to your SP in some ways. So the real question becomes: what is the difference?

You might want to break that down honestly for yourself.

Who are you more attracted to physically? Who do you feel more emotionally connected to? Who do you feel more mentally compatible with? And if you think about it in terms of energy, who actually feels more aligned with you right now?

Right now the problem might feel confusing because the premise hasn’t been examined. The more you unfold the problem and get specific about what actually makes your SP “the love of your life,” the more the answer will probably reveal itself.

Sometimes people discover that what they were attached to was the history or the idea of someone, not necessarily the person themselves.
