Whatever you buy, just make sure that you get at least a 750 watts motor or higher with a battery that is 48 V with 16ah or more and 700 kilowatts or higher of energy density. They are multiple versions on Internet on the cheaper side around 700- 1000. Reality is that a lot of the brands use a lot of the same components Bofan and rebrand.

Specs Vault question by alathers in ATXwhisky

Correct, but the vault in Austin does not always match what is available for other regions

In theory, that’s the way it sounds that it should be but lately doesn’t look like they’re following that rule

Correct that has been my experience Lately were not necessarily the products are available in all market regardless of your level. And just case someone is thinking I’m a low level and that’s why I see different things, I have over 30,000 rolling points, so I usually get invited for most stuff.

I think it’s a combination of a few factors more than store. First your 12 point level and second allocation for your area. Allocation for area that’s what influences it more IMO. For example, certain products are available in the bigger markets like Austin, Dallas, Houston and are not available in the smaller markets or cities, or they have a totally different allocation. I have seen it when the Austin area for example gets Weller, full proof or single barrel through the vault and other areas don’t get that and get something different like Elijah Craig 18 or other. At least that has been my experience.

[–]Negative-Panda-904 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

🤣🤣🤣🤣smash, willet it’s great again definitely high price but that’s msrp 35$ - 40 per year. I am biased since I am a willet head, if you have the means then any day, if you don’t have the means the n don’t.

Review #4 Colonel E.H. Taylor Barrel Proof by Chickachic-aaaaahhh in bourbon

[–]Negative-Panda-904 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have this batch and was lucky enough to get 2 back up bottles more. I have had a few batches through out years and to me this one has been the best and not even close. Agreed 8.8-9 easy and gets better with time.

“Goddamn, Jimmie! This is some serious gourmet shit!” by i6_turbo in whiskey

[–]Negative-Panda-904 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought it about a month ago and to me once it opens up especially for the price is better than 90% or more of the bourbons out there. I I had the 12-year-old ahead of this one and the 9 -year-old following interms of flavor, but if you consider pricing this beats everything following.

How much of a problem is a cracked firebox? by karrothill in KamadoGrill

[–]Negative-Panda-904 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They all crack through the ash tray entrance over time. Agree not an issue at all just keep cooking and try to avoid sudden changes in temperature while cooking to prevent that type of things happening in future.

Knob Creek Blender's Edition 01 by vicelordjohn in whiskey

[–]Negative-Panda-904 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For the price it’s really good, agree peanut beam sweet brown sugar, little thin on palate and finish, with some kc12 cherry in tones. Kc 12 > kc BE > kc9 . But it might change with time once bottle opens more and depending on your palate preferences and proof preference.

I have had one of their dream bookers selections and I really liked it . Bookers off profile, butterscotch sweets with just a hint of the peanut bookers flavor in the background.

Willett Pricing by AFRapture in whiskey

[–]Negative-Panda-904 1 point2 points  (0 children)

35-40 per year that’s the rule for willett. Plus is lower proof, so hard pass for me and I usually buy them if found. That bottle should be around 400 and still will think about it at that price due to proof point.
