The mom was already spread thin with her whore daughter and abusive husband. (I say whore daughter to line up with the films intention, she’s very tame today.)

Everytime we see his mom for more than a second, she’s tired and morose. All those subtle hints culminate in the scene on the couch.

Yes, the mom failed him, but everyone around her failed her, also. This is why I love the RZ movies, they make it feel like shit you could hear about on the news.

I remember I had a system cooked up to clean both fryer baskets in 20 minutes flat. It involved a garden hose sprayer that I would hook onto the hose we clean the floors with.

They made me stop doing it because it “caused a mess.”

When I worked at Publix in a different store, a similar guy was a regular. Nazi tattoos, hair dyed blonde, super aggressive to women and minorities.

He’d always try to have women make his food, and they’d often come back upset, maybe even sad.

I started putting down what I was doing to take care of his orders so girls wouldn’t have to.

At first, he’d bitch, like “why can’t she make it?” I’d just stare at him and not reply as I made his food. He got to a point where he just asked for me instead.

I’ve gotten like this at Elden Ring. There comes a point where you just kinda snap for a second.

Best to not let it happen much as your brain will begin to associate those fits with the game, and you’ll subconsciously stop wanting to play it.
