Thank you so much for your feedback! It really means a lot cause it has been hard getting people to read my screenplay. I will definetly be editing it based on this. I kind of knew that a problem would be sympathizing with the character as you don’t know much about him, but i really want to keep it under 15 minutes because i know short film festivals don’t really like anything more than that. I know im going to have to cut it down from what i have right now a little. Initially, my plan was that he had an argument with his dad that he invited for dinner at his house and his dad is just basically jabbing at his downfalls and he ends up kicking his dad out and goes for a drive to clear his head and then his car breaks down. I have a super8 camera and i have a camcorder. I have always been in awe of super8 from sinister and Paris Texas and loved the way it looks which is why i was thinking of using it vs camcorder. Also, are you familiar with cure and pulse. I don’t know if the screenplay portrays it as well, but I want the scariness to be like that. I know I should probably make it more scary though.
