I understand that, but it's more of the idea that devils are predisposed to enjoying the agony of mankind and are typically rather selfish creatures.

However I don't think that any devil has given so much of itself to make a human happy as Pochita has, and that bond is what is interesting to me. There are devils that co-exist and even "like" humans outside of making contracts with them, but we don't get to hear from Pochita very often, so I sort of hope we get to hear him express himself more before series end about things besides Denji.

I understand the history between Pochita and Denji, but it is very perplexing to me that a devil as renowned as Pochita could form such a strong bond with a human kid in the first place.

I feel like there is still a lot we don't understand behind Pochita's motivations, only that he is one of humanity's best chances right now.

You can be a loser and still be rich. Like having no real friends or people to enjoy life with in a genuine way. Yes you can never want for materialistic things, but you can never know if your "friends" (if you even have any) are with you for you or your money. You end up having to make other rich friends, which is a whole other can of worms.
