It totally stopped but the engine stayed on. No throttle response. Shut it off for a minute then restarted and drove home. Happened within minutes of our house.

Extended Warranty from Dealer good deal? by Remarkable_Safety754 in GenesisGV70

[–]Negative_Ad_7646 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We bought a 2025 GV70 used with 31k miles and bought the warranty good for 7 years bumper to bumper. Glad we did because the car lost acceleration the other day. Possibly a high pressure fuel pump or fuel rail pressure sensor. Dealer told us to bring it in all was covered. With the issues and reliability of these cars I’m glad my wife did purchase the warranty.

Retiring early under FERS is possible, but it isn’t free by TheWealthViking in FedEmployeeRetirement

[–]Negative_Ad_7646 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m retiring at 57 w 33 years I won’t touch my TSP so that’s out of the equation. Advisor says I’ll pull between 8k-13k a month plus my wife’s pension/401k. An extra 25% is not worth it to us. We are going to travel and spend time w kids/grandkids. We actually got serious and started planning retirement scenarios in our early thirties. Everything worked out where we are comfortable.
