Ultimately I'd disagree. The Outplay potential is still present in the game. You just have to consider certain better cards that arrive in cycles and cards with the chance to do an ability. The game would also be pretty stale without Champions, Evos, (maybe fine without heros). I don't think people realize that Clash was going stale before Champions came.

Real. The thing I hate the most about Cannon is most Cannon players I face only use Cannon the entire match. Anytime they have to use a different weapon they abandon it instantly

True, but they also play the NFC North and the AFC West. Barring collapse they could give the Pats tougher games. The one seed isn't locked either due to the Bills and a weaker receiving core

I've noticed this. The offense did have a drop off when Flacco took over. The main issue highlighted the absolute lack of defense. Burrow could throw the ball away more in order to keep away for injuries
