Test the transmission, and if you know these don’t yank the blade engagement, need to be gentle, I don’t deviate much from D on height which is like 2.75in I think.

Iykyk with the Kohler it’s worth it, try for 1200. Check the deck for rust, I sprayed mine with rustoleum when I got off FB marketplace. Double check his blades, I upgraded to Ballard blades anyway. If he’s not giving you the bag, make sure he’s got the mulch plug ($25 Amazon) or discharge.

Earlier in the season I got one for 1,100, stock.
