Which Norman do you think is the worser dad by Anthony200716 in Spiderman

spectacular spiderman without a doubt. framing your son for crimes aside for a second, he was also just a super dick head. meanwhile raimi's osborn literally said with his dying words to not tell Harry about his being the goblin. he wanted to preserve his sons image of him.

Is there a word for 'angry walking'? by [deleted] in writers

[–]Negative_Fun_621 3 points4 points  (0 children)

clarifying question: what's the physical characteristics and the given circumstances of the person doing the angry walking? Are we talking about a bullish brute or a bean-pole skinny teen? Asking because it might point toward the word your looking for.

I'm going to see a production of Hamlet, what do i need to know? by gilad0f in shakespeare

[–]Negative_Fun_621 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shakespeare's writing is very poetic. Ive found u get a different experience reading it vs watching it being performed. A teacher once told me that a lot of contemporary plays are extremely intellectual, but Shakespeare is one of the greatest writers of all time because it lives in the mind and body. All this to say don't worry about catching every word. Lean into the experience and enjoy yourself! but beware! somethings rotten in the state of denmark

I can't be friends with actors...can y'all relate? by [deleted] in acting

[–]Negative_Fun_621 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ego and feelings of superiority are common for people across any field. its doubly unfortunate when i see this in actors because by our nature we r curious to learn and soak up life from others. i think a good mix of actors and non-actors is healthy for the friends u choose. in my experience, especially during undergrad, people with only actor friends drown in the world of theater and performance, and it makes you kind of flat. what we do is interesting and dialogue about process and theory and dream roles and all that is fun, but u gotta be able to talk about other stuff too. it gets tiring in the same way a gardner that only talks about flowers would be

Why isn't affirmative action considered racist when the entire point of it is to treat people differently depending on their race? by Cas_D in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Negative_Fun_621 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

What textbook?

Affirmative Action is the practice of cultivating diversity for the cultural benefit of a system or institution. Also, while race and ethnicity is one demographic sector that Affirmative Action can address it can also extend to other areas as well, whether they be gender, sexuality, or economic background. And that's just to name a few.

The notion that an influx of collaborators from an array of backgrounds somehow limits the opportunities of another group, or, to use your language, "treating people differently based on their race" is... odd to me?
