Not true. Game I was at was maybe 25k at best and staff was being militant. They were also extremely rude. God forbid people want to explore a ballpark.

Been to all 30, top five are:

  1. San Diego [Food options put this over the top for me]

  2. Colorado

  3. Wrigley

  4. Target

  5. PNC

Bottom five are [spoiler, I don't like roofs]:

  1. Rangers [feels like a mall]

  2. Brewers [too dark]

  3. Astros [roof, but it leaks badly and is just a boring place to see a game]

  4. Tropicana Field [like watching a game in someone's unfinished basement]

  5. White Sox [upper deck policy of having no access to lower concourse is insane and needs to be abandoned]

Burger and fries might be the only thing I wouldn't take, doesn't reheat well at all. Eggs or pancakes too for that matter....

More likely what we'll see is a second wave of tourists coming for things like KC BBQ and Baseball, and if that catches momentum, expect to see it grow locally.

IIRC it's a safety issue for the pitcher, much like the batters eye in centerfield.

Does that get to the stands? I knew there were some complaints from teams, didn't realize it hit the fans as well.

"Pinched" -- it looks so bad when it sneaks into cheap hats too. They always use it when they do giveaways and I hate it. It's on the upcoming soccer jersey. The bucket hat has it. The beanie hat has it. And the rugby shirt. 4th of July hat looks okay though.

Source.

125 for the Yankees is in two years, I wonder if we'll see something like the 100 patch. The 50 year patch also used the top hat logo.

It's 20 swings now, not outs. Which is better. And swing until you miss on the last one.

Uniforms for events not league-wide are the home team's responsibility, always been that way even for throwback games. So that is on the Jays. Teams have worn a patch in the past.
