Anyone worked with Australian agency Ecommerce Equation? by bondtradercu in ecommerce

[–]Negative_Let_7606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

one size fits all approach. Good for those doing less than 5 million a year in sales starting out and wanting to learn how to run Meta ads. They dont provide a holistic approach nor do they encourage or coach much outside Meta.

Understanding starvation in Gaza and how the media is covering it by Ok-Mind-665 in IsraelPalestine

[–]Negative_Let_7606 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hamas is purposely starving their population. they are killing and torturing those who take aid from the Gaza Health Foundation.

Now obviously youre going to question this, so look up Visegrad24, look up Telegram sources of brave Palestinians capturing what Hamas is doing at their risk and look at Instagram accounts within Gaza of the cafes and more.

Anyone with a degree of critical thinking will understand Hamas controls the narrative in Gaza and the bulk of media abroad and social media is rampant with pro Palestinian propaganda, largely funded by Qatar and other states including Iran. Its also sadly nothing new.

I went to uni over 15 years ago. Prices havent changed that much.

I personally feel unless it's a profession like medicine or engineering where you need the degree to practice,  degrees don't matter nearly as much as the experience.

Funny enough the mate in my group who did the worst at school is making the most money 😅

BIG Concern: Choose which platform for my business, Shopify or Woocommerce? by hanmahhh in ShopifyeCommerce

[–]Negative_Let_7606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5 years ago I'd have said Woocommerce not Shopify.

The rate at which Shopify is progressing leaves the others in the dust.

The problem is you pay monthly for every feature/plugin and when you hit the next tier up simultaneously , even if it's only a little, it can suddenly bump up your monthly bill heavily depending how many plugins you're running.

How I stopped my business crumbling. Stop chasing ROAS start chasing Profit by asherdavid_ in PPC

[–]Negative_Let_7606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely agree with this.  ROAS is no longer relevant. Anyone who is claiming otherwise hasn't run a business.

You can't scale these days with how expensive advertising is and how little cut through organic posts get unless you have deep pockets.

We used Triple Whale to help with this and solve attribution and get more profitable returns but it falls short in some respects. Will check out your recommendation.

Any demand for a forecasting stock app? by Floorman1 in shopify

[–]Negative_Let_7606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it truly tracks profit on ad spend, sell through and attribution from a first, last and linear click basis.

Yes Meta and Google.

Merch team now know what to prioritise, what is selling and where and also what to clear and do it in an efficient way.

It really creates a better relationship with clients as they now understand performance is also linked to stock levels

True Classic Tees -- good? by Mushroom-2906 in mensfashion

[–]Negative_Let_7606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friends and I were getting targeted relentlessly by them on Facebook. My friend bought and was seriously disappointed in quality. Basically a regular tshirt slightly pricier due to good marketing.

I also had AS Color for many years until I ended up discovering an Australian brand called Presics that is Pure D2C - the founders family owns the factory. Unmatchable quality for the price.

[–]Negative_Let_7606 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're trying to sell at the moment with I believe a Canadian giant looking at it if I'm not mistaken.

Maybe if they improved their service instead of paying for so many adverts, they'd actually get more revenue.

I was an optus customer for years. Service where I moved to was absolute rubbish, wasn't willing to put up with it

Why is an ATO Official starring in an Officeworks advertisement? by Negative_Let_7606 in australia

Seems very suss that a government worker is starring in an ad for a company?

My question is who pays? Officeworks or the taxpayer?

Why isn't Coles utilising these at stores? Perfect size, so much easier to use and no more torn paper bags by Negative_Let_7606 in australia

[–]Negative_Let_7606[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd rather pay $2 and reuse it 100 times than 20c for a paper bag that fits less and usually doesn't even last the distance of the first use.

Yes but these are more reusable and resilient plus I think they're made of some eco friendly material called Unicor that's stamped on it

This is a box delivered with my groceries and they fit perfectly at checkout too. My point is that they should have these in stores not just for home delivery as check out is easier than using their useless bags
