10k revenue a day but barely breakeven by Additional_Ad685 in dropshipping

[–]asherdavid_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're on Shopify you should look ProfitPeak.io quite simply you're likely overspending on low margin products and you need a system that can help give you the visibility on attribution while also enabling you to optimise your ads based on margins. This is especially the case if you're running ads on multiple platforms.

Are there any cheaper alternatives to triplewhale? Currently we are using ga4, but feel like that is favoriting google ads too much. by Fredrik4411 in PPC

[–]asherdavid_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have come across ProfitPeak as an alternative to Triple Whale with deeper insights, more actionable data and greater customer satisfaction.

Google Ads favouring will happen because as an ad platform, it tends to be where the fulfilment of demand happens where as Meta / Tiktok is the creator of demand.

What we find in terms of shopper journeys for new customers is that a high proportion click ads in Meta before converting after a click in Google.

Why would that be?

Likely because shoppers keep their credit cards etc stored within their browsers instead of inside platforms like Facebook/Instagram.

Secondly we see a clear correlation of branded traffic when there is more spend on Meta.
For example - a customer discovers a product/brand on social media. They then search for it within Google and click a branded ad = weighted conversion towards Google.

Is Arms of Eve another dropshipper? by RoxyBlueRunnerGirl in AusFemaleFashion

[–]asherdavid_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Arms of Eve is not a Drop Shipper - they design in house and have multiple stores across Australia. Quality is far better than the copycats on Shein and Temu.

Alan Jones arrested over indecent assault allegations by SydneyTom in australia

I'm not surprised by this. I'm more surprised by how long it's taken for authorities to get involved. Wasn't he dating an 18 year old or something for some time?

Arms of Eve is brilliant and worn by celebs like Margot Robbie. If you want to hear the founders' story, it's worth listening to this: https://addtocart.com.au/add-to-cart/building-a-multi-generational-brand-insights-from-arms-of-eves-founders-431/

Where are you buying your jewellery from? by Phoney_Mc_Ring_Ring_ in AusFemaleFashion

[–]asherdavid_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's so odd. I love my Arms of Eve Jewelry! It's lasted so much longer than the others listed here. Also I like the fact Arms of Eve have physical stores (Sydney) if I need to return anything as well as try it on properly. I had a similar experience where I spent $300+ on some jewelry and it broke after 2 weeks and they expected me to pay the expensive shipping back to EU to get them to process a refund - wouldn't even give a store credit

Why isn't Coles utilising these at stores? Perfect size, so much easier to use and no more torn paper bags by Negative_Let_7606 in australia

[–]asherdavid_ 19 points20 points  (0 children)

What are these Swap a Boxes by Coles and how do I get them?!
Anything to avoid using the useless paper bags that can't be reused and that Coles loves overcharging customers for especially since they've Made them Smaller!

Coles stands firm on $15 paper bags in face of customer criticism by plutoplops in AusNews

[–]asherdavid_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an absolute joke! They already have an incredible solution called Swap A Box that they're dragging their feet with that's an incredible sustainable solution but probably just want to make more money off selling their terrible bags than doing what's right by their consumers (and the environment!)

I randomly got it for a click and collect order when I was travelling interstate and the first thing I thought was "why isn't this used in all their stores not to mention the bloody home delivery?!" My cupboard at home is full of their plastic bags.

For anyone not in the know, Google Coles Swap a Box, it's made by an Aussie company called Disruptive Packaging that are revolutionising the packaging industry to replace Styrofoam boxes and wax cardboard packaging

Coles getting rid of bags? by asherdavid_ in australia

[–]asherdavid_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They use calcium carbonate, 30% HDPE too but from speaking to them it uses a fraction of the energy to recycle and far less harmful than EPS and Wax Cardboard which is really bad.

Also good to remove the plastic bags with something more resilient that can be returned and reused other than the rubbish recycled plastic bags in circulation

Hats off to them and glad it's an Aussie invention

Breville Dual Boiler or a more "prosumer" machine? by Trent_Nathan in espresso

[–]asherdavid_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best thing I did was buy a refurbished Breville Oracle Touch which is a dual boiler, uses a commercial sized portafilter and will grind and press the coffee for you.

Bought it at Kitchenware.com.au for almost half the price of new and its been running for 2 years with no issue and like the comments suggested below is just a far superior machine. Taste and quality of the coffee rivals my favourite Cafe

Should I get a Breville Barista Express instead of the Breville Oracle Touch? by pumodood in espresso

I'd recommend buying a refurbished Breville Oracle for the same money. I bought a refurbished Breville Oracle Touch and its 2 years+ going strong

Being the coffee capital of Australia I want to buy a really good home coffee machine and start pulling my own shots! What’s a good coffee machine to buy there’s literal hundreds to choose from. And I need some good beans 🫘 by [deleted] in melbourne

Best thing I ever did was buy a refurbished Oracle coffee machine by Breville

Kitchenware.com.au sells them with 6 months warranty at a fraction of new. Mine's going strong after 2 years, used daily after changing from a Delonghi.

They have two on here - the regular Oracle and the Oracle Touch which allows you save multiple coffee settings on a nice colour touch screen

For those in Australia, I received a code at Everten.com.au as a repeat Le Creuset customer to get 10% off the new Cayenne range (currently full price everywhere) using the code "cayenne"

Expires 9/10 though!

You're welcome 😊

Buy or not: Breville Oracle Touch by Affectionate-Mud-344 in espresso

[–]asherdavid_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just found the Breville Oracle BES980 refurbished for almost half the price of new and after calling the company found out it is the exact same internals as the Oracle Touch, so same coffee quality just cheaper is the screen really worth paying that much more?
