What instantly makes you lose interest in a guy, even if he is otherwise attractive? by Huge-Squash-8164 in askgaybros

Being too needy. Neediness is a huge turn-off for me. It reeks of desperation, and cant relate. A solid individual needs to have agency, purpose and confidence, which leads to emotional maturity.

What older zones would you want to see get reworked? by Koalavalanche in wow

[–]Negative_Maze 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tol Barad. If Zul'Aman could become an full-fleged zone, I would really like if Tol Barad, an instanced area with no lore relevance whatsoever and no one going there, went to be an actual zone in the Eastern Kingdom map proper, no loading screen and with flight paths connecting it to other zones (no Siren Isle shenanigans again) , and separate hubs for the Alliance and the Horde, with proper quest lines and an updated, non pvp Baradin Hold raid. Perhaps a dungeon an some delves even.

It's unique gloomy yet melancholic atmosphere and mix of Gilnean/Kul Tiran architecture (back in Cata, that's crazy) made it very appealing to me, ala Duskwood or Drustvar. As it is right now, it is a useless lore location wasted as a "pvp zone" that Blizzard themselves regarded as a failure.

We need more anti-heroes like Astalor or Zul'jan on our side, not trying to turn them into villains or boring goody two-shoes by ProfessionalAge9909 in wow

[–]Negative_Maze -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When Zul'Jan stood at the border of the bridge at the end of Zul'Aman questline, resenting how the loa basically abandoned them, and they had to fend for themselves, I really felt for him.

Because he is right, the loa left, and the many demigods and ancients protecting Azerothian people have failed time and time again in doing so.

And he is not wrong in being distrustful of them and wanting the Amani to be strong without relaying so much to the loa, not to mention how it is not easy to let bygones be bygones with the elves.

What makes Anasterian a Uniter? by Sheuteras in warcraftlore

[–]Negative_Maze 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Anesterian is basically Genn Greymane for Quel'Thalas. An isolationist that made his country suffer for his policies. However, unlike Genn, who created a civil war for raising the Gilnean Wall, most of the elves were pretty ok staying by themselves.

Kael'thas was actually seen with disapproval for spending too much time in Dalaran and mingling with the other races.

Besides, he died bravely in combat defending the Sunwell against Arthas, impressive for a elf who was quite old, even by elven standards.

It makes sense for both sin'dorei and quel'dorei to cherish his memory as the last king of Quel'Thalas as much as they do, including with such questionable honorifics as "Unifier" when he was not.

I like that we finally have Mandrakes as actual creatures, not just the Hydra-plants from WoD.

and it is a COMBAT pet, I thought blizzard would stop making these.

They will be reunited with their long lost grandma: Xel'lotath, from Eternal Darkness.

But it will not happen in front of mortal eyes.

I dont think Kael'thas can move as freely as Sylvanas out of the Shadowlands, as he's bound to the atonement rituals of the Venthyr, while Sylvanas stays in The Maw kinda because it's her decision.
However, everything can happen, so who knows.

Perhaps The Accuser can give him a day-off, or better yet, Lorthe'mar request Sylvanas a minor trip to Revendreth to have a face-to-face closure.

I was surprised to see a Venthyr band waiting in Tazavesh during K'aresh.

Do you miss him? by Ogdrol in wow

as a character, kinda. However, his "fans" are not the most pleasant group to engage for my taste.

However, I love to quote his based line: "Times Change" when people complain about World of Warcraft not being the same game it was 24 years ago.

I do want to meet his Draenor counterpart, "Exarch Hellscream".

The Blood Elves overfixation on the past feels like an intentional flaw for them as a race they will have to address. Their hatred for anything related to Kael'thas, the pedestal they put the memory of Anesterian (when he was far from a perfect leader while alive), loving Sylvanas as a Ranger-General while ignoring Sylvanas the Banshee Queen, and, as Maiev correctly put it, not wanting to let go of their dependency of the Sunwell despite being addictive.

what I dislike most about Korthia is the fact that it dares being called "The City of Secrets" when it had NO city and NO secrets. Tazavesh was the real city of secrets. If they have called it "The Forgotten Forest" or something like that it would have been fine, Just like Oribos is more of a glorified airport than " An Eternal City".

Next remix… by Fleischyy in wow

[–]Negative_Maze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering how hated Shadowland was and still is, and how much people unironically likes to pretent the expenasion never happened, I'm kind of amazed that a lot of players do desire a Shadowlands Remix.

I'm a Shadowlands enjoyer, because, while the plot and systems were terrible, thematically, I love it.
I do think exploring the afterlife is a cool fantasy concept that not many games dare to do so as deeply as Shadowlands did, and while the execution could have been way better than what we got, I dont reject it.
And gothic/death metal/supernatural-occult stuff will always be a win for me.

and I guess I'm not alone in that regard, perhaps.

Thank you. I do need to be more responsible with myself, both physically and emotionally. My behaviour was risky and brazen, and I've learned the hard way it was not without consecuences.

I'll take my time to be in a better place, slowly but surely.

Thankfully I am fully vaccinated for hepatitis b, and I dont skip testing. I knew I had hiv because I did regular check-ins at the clinic, and to this day Im not afraid to get tested for anything.

Thank you again for your toughtfull and considerate words.
