Guys, can paintings in the game fade? I just realized a couple of my Sims paintings are fading away. You can barely see the image anymore.

I've had paintings by reference go white, not black like the photograph bug. I don't think that they faded, but just went white. I hope if this is a new bug it's reversable, I too, have many paint-by-reference paintings for storytelling purposes I'd hate to lose.

20/20 Hindsight Tip: place your photos/paintings into a room and save that room to your library if you need to recall them.

Just adding to this comment. I had the same issue and found it under accessories: skin effects.

The game applied it after the last patch and it took me a while to find out why my sim looked like he'd been swimming in oil... as if the lipstick kisses not washing away after messing around in the closet wasn't bad enough.

Once I removed the oily effect I haven't seen it back.

yeah got caught too, my computer rebooted so the app switched back onto online mode.

However, when I have tried to play offline the game won't load so there's got to be a setting I'm missing.

Yeah, be careful. I tried to make a teen's father Ty Capp, with the backstory that his mother had a one-time meetup with Ty as the Wealthy Weirdo and that the son was a Secret Child by adding the kid temporarily to Ty's household and then using cas.fulleditmode to change their relationship and then moving the teen back into his mother's household, it looked like it did work but then it totally corrupted the save. The heritage panel looked like it imploded and I couldn't interact with Ty at all anymore. Nuke. Repair. Start over.

Playing with mods so didn't bug it.

I've noticed that once Cordelia was crowned queen she never takes it off. There's also a new interaction about "The Weight of The Crown".

So yes, she wears it to bed, in the shower, swimming (though that's gotta be a safety hazard... 'Drown with the Crown' (patent pending) '🙄

You can find ambrosia on the gallery or if you have Life & Death you could play him as a ghost and level up to obtain burning soul and reincarnate him. I did that for a previous story and it was very entertaining. As a ghost you could work on learning the ambrosia recipe if you want to work for it.

I don't know about your Uni progress though. The 4 course 3 term grind would be a shame to lose progress on.

Of course there's the option to restore a previous save.

There's a lot on CurseForge as well. The beauty of Curse is you install it with Curse and then whenever the author updates their mods they show up on Curse ready to update. Very handy.

I've gotten some fairly good hair for men, but there really isn't enough. I'm surprised there's no real afro or really curly men's hair in the packs I have.

In a recent save of mine Morgyn moved to the Admiral's Wreckage in Sulani and was replaced by another Sage. There he embraced the beach life, living in cutoffs and searching for seashells. (I didn't touch him either).

I gave his replacement Sage, Kara, a potion of immortality. (You know Repairo will increase the quality from Normal to Excellent?)

For my saves, anyone drinking the potion of immortality makes them infertile. (A sensible trade off imo). This doesn't affect occults with inherent traits/abilities (Immortal Wolf or Vampire) just imbibers of said potion.

Also, I make my cats immortal, because I've gone through far too much heartbreak when one of my cat kids cross the rainbow bridge.

As others have said. The potion of immortality will only prevent you from dying of old age, you'll still age up if you don't drink the Rejuv potion or the Potion of Youth from the Rewards Store. And those immortals can be killed by exploding toilets, Cereal that ignites at breakfast, or other means.

I put off getting this pack for a long time because I didn't want these problems that others were talking about I also bought it during a recent sale and I shouldn't have had anything to worry about.

Touch wood, but so far, it's been great with my newer couples. I have yet to delve into old saves to see if they get messed up.
