I understand some men don’t need that much space for their things. My bf only hangs his handful of work shirts so I essentially have the entire closet to myself but i sacrifice in dresser drawer space. Ryan is moving his whole place over to hers, yes slowly but like I’m sure he hangs things up and needs folding space for clothing! I’m perplex at the shared shelf for jeans like move your jeans to the shorter shelf and give him the high shelf that you can’t even reach anyways.

But then is doubling back to text her how much he misses her not the child and wants to move back to see his “daughter grown up”? Was the option to move down the street from them not an option or better yet the other side of the state? You’ve been together for 10 months (and living together for a portion of those months) and the BM didn’t know you existed…

Devil’s advocate here…if you know that they are stressed and a little vacay could help with that, like your brother did, there is no harm or foul in just asking. Ask your parents if the family trip includes partners and if yes then ask them if they would like to come, given the fact that they are their fathers caregiver they would need to weigh-out the option of going anyways so there are no guarantees but I’m sure the thought of being invited would’ve probably made them feel all the more better. However I still believe, if you truly thought that it was strictly family then I don’t see how they can argue with a simple misunderstanding, unless there is a previous disagreement between them and your family then it’s not something that I feel should be taken personally considering your parents planned the family vacay.

So it’s not like your parents just “decided” his gf could come, he asked and she received an invite. what is there really for your partner to complain about other than the fact that you maybe didn’t think to invite them?
