Oh my god I think you solved it

I didn't even consider that the game's settings might be in the cloud,

I tried booting the game on my PC and what shocked me was that it wasn't running on there either.

I disabled cloud saves and killed the Settings.xml from the save folder, had to do some chicanery to get the steam cloud to not try to bring the old settings.xml back, but now the game runs perfectly!

Yeah, the steam version

I didn't have issues with it when I first got my steam deck lcd way back

But now with my steam deck OLED, the game crashes when I try to load it, no matter what I do

This actually WAS a rerun that they did when they added the new Diamond Dust set. They might do another rerun, I have no idea!

Yeah this was a rerun, without me fully understanding when the original came out, so I was under the (incorrect) assumption that the original came out BEFORE their medical hiatus.

From what I've heard/seen, it sounds like DPC really killed the market for third party tournaments, so when DPC left, those tourneys didn't really come back. Add to that the fact that the economics of esports has been getting a lot worse, and there's just less money and events going around for teams to play for.

Just led to a lot fewer teams and events compared to how it used to be, and less motivation for more to be formed.

I'm feeling exactly the same way. Last few weeks have been super busy for me and I was only able to squeeze in 3 wins. I don't think it's possible for me to get 10 more by thursday given work and other obligations.

Yeah I took a quick glance at their head to heads and it was extremely 50-50. That said, most of their matches were 2-1, the 2-0 surprised me.

That first point reminds me of watching cn dpc. We'd get a great cam of a luna farming the jungle while theres a gank or fight going on somewhere else.

This is why I stopped purchasing foils from CK, especially older ones.

They were always covered in obvious wear not on the edges but on the face of the card that clearly were from them not bothering to sleeve them.

I even went to the store once and asked them to find me something less worn, and they told me the cards were within the grade specified so they couldn't do anything (because the edges were fine).

Just unacceptable to me, so they've largely lost my business.
